im sorry im not more help here. im just trying to explain a bit on how PH works. i am actually lucky and my PH out the tap is 6.8 and dosent budge no matter what i do.

this link explains how you can setup a buffered system so that there is little to no change in PH.. BE CAREFULL, READ CAREFULLY chemical mixing is something that should be done ONLY when you fully understand what your doing...mixing the wrong chemicals together could be DEADLY..
