You asked me to rethink my comment. I did just that and told you what I thought. That does not mean I am narrow minded. I cant really see your comparison in Christianity and soil. First of all, religion is a BIT different than growing mediums; in the sense that religion is like a belief or thought, and soil is a physical material. I am not saying one is better as a belief, I am saying it is better because for my purpose(personal use) soil is King. Lol
My last grow was hydro, i had big giant plants and buds, but people bitched about the taste. This current grow is all organic and same genetics and people are loving it.

Soil is where it is at, just my opinion

Mosquito dunks and hot shots. Problem solved
Yes on the mosquito dunks, thats why I use gnatrol :-)
But hot shots? Eeeewwwwwwyyyyyy!
I had my fun fucking with those things when they were the new rave. Nasty!
A couple drench applications of B.t.i is all I've ever
Needed to fuck them up :-)
Well, that and watering less frequent in soil or dirt, if it was from user error in the first place. But sometimes, asshole hydro stores keep bags outside. They get rained on, and hello fungus gnats in ur growroom. Bastards!

Even soil kept inside will still have gnats, i use to work for Fafard, they are a soil distributor.

All soil plants keep their soil mixes outside to compost.

I havent had any problems with pest other then gnats but ive been underwatering and they all died. Hot shots killed all my lady bugs, i should have known better but oh well. Plus i had no spidermites when i released them so they might not have any food to eat.

Hehehe, yeah, trying to keep ladybugs in your growroom is pretty hard. I mean shit, as soon as you first release them, 99% of them die. Stupid little critters. This one shop I used to live by, sold these "ladybug homes". It was supposed to help, but I never tried it.
I hear you on the soil, But i'm here to tell you, if bags of coco get left out in the rain, fungus gnats can be brought in:-(
