Javadog's Next Adventure

Well, I saw that my clone dude was posting to CL here in San Diego
and that he had some of his Cherry Pies available, so I hit him up for one.

I added Alien Dog Ether, a new Skywalker OG Kush, a new Super Lemon Haze,
the Cherry Pie and a second cut of Triple OG (XXX) to my collection.

I am happy to have gotten the XXX again from him....there might have
been a confusion, as one of the other of his breeds that I do not have
yet is his Sour Dub, but Double is real close to Triple :0)

This way I figure that I can flower one of the two XXX OGs without
waiting on the confirmation of a successful clone.

I should add that I am stoked to get to try someone else's
Super Lemon Haze. I might let my cut, from seed, that
had little lemon and made balls, go after getting this one.

I cannot imagine that a cut not being a strong Lemon would
be making the rounds....

Good Morning Folks.

Here are the new ladies:

I have no idea who to be most excited about.

I do this while I sit and survey my fields....
IMG_3798.JPG
I take one plant into mind, and think about how it is doing,
and what might be expected of it in the next while.

Stacked Kush is a great example. The more I read up on "Sleestack",
the more I am excited to be trying this breed.

I am just desperately trying to get these things to root.

It is time for me to make a propagator, to help with the tough breeds.

BTW all the sprouts are good, including the new three (Psycho Killer
and The Dog from BB and Golden Tiger from Ace) babies....

...but the just put down BB beans only popped 1:4. I am sure that I buried
them too deep. I got some replacement peats for my BST and found
them to be the (actually more excellent) Jiffy-7 variety, with the little "skin"
that keeps the peat in form. Well, just dropping a bean into the bottom
of one and then burying it in moist verm might make for a long first
trip for the babies. I am keeping hope alive, but it has been 24 hours
since Qrazy Quake popped up.

Not to worry....BB is very generous....theirs are the only 10 packs I have.
I think that they are brilliant, as they have, literally and figuratively, made
me a BB farmer by helping me work against such losses.

Onward and upward,

JD

All clones REALLY need is super-stable temps, as in nailed to within .5 degrees C... I don't even bother LOOKING at RH never mind tweaking it much any more. Just get them temps STABLE.

I can vouch for the Sleestack. It's really pretty awesome. Psychey trip to it, and the smell is just this wonderful mix of fruity with piney, it's quite unique I think.

As for all of those new ones... man I'm a jealous guy right now =P
I'm really curious to get some Lemon Haze smoke on... have you done that one before? do you know how it smokes?

Lookin great as always! And as you say: onward and upward! =)

Well, I tried a SLH from the bean, but having popped only one,
I am not surprised that I did not win the genetic lottery. The one
pheno that I saw finished rather quickly, but had little Lemon scent
or flavor and it popped nanners at around Week #7. (or this is when
I noticed them)

So, I have high hopes for a clone...it is a keeper after all.

Thanks all!

Hello,

I came home to find the Livers BX baby pop up.

This is great news.

I will wait a couple more days....like I said I am pretty sure
that they are having to come up through too much...and then
I will germinate a new DPQ and FB beans.

the fireballs have been having a lot of males you may want to pop two;)

I've still got my male Sinmint from last year when I did my C99 cross. I actually took a clone of it the other day. If this one roots(the last didn't) I'm gonna get it flowering with my next batch and pollinate my platinum delight I've been so happy with, and then maybe a couple others just for fun :).

I have to chuckle...You guys want seeds, I am pissed that One of my two plants just harvested hermed and I didn't catch it so both have some seeds. Ugh. I am not ready to breed....lol
I think accidental breeding by nature has that much lower satisfaction level. Been there mate, never fun.
