please don't take this the wrong way, but learn how to fight. seriously, what if after whippin your ass, he would have turned and bashed your daughter? no one can stop everything, but you HAVE to be ready. I started training Brazilian jiu jitsu in 2009 and honestly I dare a mf, even twice my size, to jump. I by no means, am any kind of badass, but Helio Gracie developed BJJ for a smaller, weaker opponent to defeat a bigger attacker. I hope no one gets offended by this, but this isn't any tae kwon do or karate where you practice punching and kicking the air, you actually practice these skills full contact everytime you hit the mats. search it on youtube then go find you a gym and try a class. you just might save you or your familys life. and take your daughter too, mines been training since she was 5. shes almost 11, has fought all over the country (mostly boys) and is still a cheerleader that's concerned about nail polish. but I watched a 6'2", 215lb grown man (with a tae kwon do black belt btw) stand in front of my daughter (bc she had on a cute pink gi) and say "show me what you got". it was his first time trying jits, lol. now she weighed 68 lbs (and her hair was did, lol) and I watched her surprise him with a double leg take down. his back wasn't even on the mat yet and she had already mounted his chest, slid both hands deep into his collar, performed a beautiful cross-collar choke. his eyes rolled backed in his head and was out, all in under 9 seconds from standing and talking to sleeping. and don't even let her take your back, lol! 5 years from now, I dare some little smartass 16 yr old boy put his hands on her.
I didn't spend all this time typing this to brag about how tuff my daughter is, I truly feel bad about what happened to you, bc it didn't have to be that way and more importantly, it never has to be that way again. I hope a lot of people read this, decide to watch a couple videos, and learn how to protect their family. if you would like any more info on this, feel free to pm me.
don't be a victim
