are you implying that my ideals are harmful, racist, and bigoted?
No I asked what your ideals are since your always acting out so strongly?

Like others I doubt you will answer, and try to accuse me of being like them.

We know your shtick.

White Christian males are now being equated with the Jews of Europe before the Holocaust by conservatives. The conservatives somehow think that they are the ones who are being oppressed and are not the oppressors.

"What you’re seeing here is parallel to the antisemitism of the late 19th century. Like the Jews before them, the “white male” is being targeted, successfully, as not only the cause of social problems, but also as unfair recipients of wealth and status that have been “stolen” from others around them. Right now it seems like quirky bullshit from fringe thinkers and wacked pseudointellectuals. The idea is taking root that white males, and especially Christian white males, are undeserving of what they have.

If you talked with European Jews in 1870, most would concede some animosity and hatred, but they’d probably disbelieve that their neighbors, colleagues, coworkers, and families would someday round them up in mechanized genocide. (Russian Jews would believe it.)

We’re seeing the first baby steps of genocide. And although I don’t have any knowledge of this, I would bet there were self-hating Jews, just like this self-hating educator, who thought that all they had to do was express guilt and they’d obtain penance.

The good news for the haters, of course, is that it’s a lot easier identifying a person by skin color than it is by ethnicity. No need for yellow stars this time around.

God help us."

Oh boohoo. Who was it who killed the Jews again? Was it white conservative Christian males? Why do they have a persecution complex?

not really fair to call the nazis christians, hitler basically set himself up as the deity and was worshipped as such. the brainwashing was utter and complete.

but yes, the persecution complex is hilarious to watch.

It's relative deprivation. Someone had something. Now it's slipping away.
In this case, it's power and status.

Rather than admit they are entitled, they argue they are victims. They see the loss of status and power as an attack. By portraying themselves as victims they believe they can prevent further erosion of status and power.

Pat Buchanan is a perfect symbol of this dynamic. Very smart guy but does anyone listen to him anymore? He's a relic.
Younger versions exist of course but you see my point.

In propaganda you try to win hearts and minds. Facts are irrelevant. The goal is to play on people's emotions: fears, hopes, dreams, prejudices. It can get nasty, really quick. I'm alway amazed and disappointed by how readily people will believe lies if they are repeated often enough.

I don't think it's an accident that critical thinking is not taught in schools. It is no accident that the right is targeting textbooks. in texas, they've made sure no mention is made of Plains Indians being wiped out from what I'm hearing. The first casualty in a propaganda war is truth. It is a war. That is for sure. The right didn't like the left back in the 60's. Many roads lead back to Nixon and the early 70's. That is when the groundwork began to 'take back' America. Reagan was phase one.

anyhoo, peace

That picture is not from Germany. I'm guessing balkans

HItler had a tough time with the Catholics. They were not on board; the Protestans were less centralized and easier for him to suppress. Hitler came to power so quickly and consolidated. It's not accurate to say christians were with him.
yeah.......a Nazi-sympathizer Pope..........real hard time with those papists. the pic was taken in Bonn.
