Bigoted comments from the right-wing website "Free Republic"

All you are scared shitless of someone doing like Hitler, that you'll all allow another Hitler, as long as he does his genocide not based on race. Pathetic.

yeah.......a Nazi-sympathizer Pope..........real hard time with those papists. the pic was taken in Bonn.
I was talking about the overall picture within Germany. Hitler did run into strong resistance from German Catholic leaders when he went to consolidate power. It didn't amount to much because he had the full weight of the state. He crushed dissent pretty quickly.
Of course he did have some Catholic and Protestant supporters.
I can't speak on the Pope. I wouldn't doubt he played politics.
Sure those pics aren't of the Ustase?

you're right.......its actually Tupelo Mississippi. you care more about being right, than the truth. I'm glad I'm not you.

Never said that christians didn't support hitler. i said, in essence, both churches resisted but were crushed by overwhelming power and force.
The pic could be from Bonn. You seemed to imply Christians in Germany were Nazis or something like that. It's one pic. You could take some stills from any war and mischaracterize all sorts of things. That's propaganda, not truth. History has a way of trying to arrive at the truth. It's not perfect.
You like memes and pics. good for you.
i like books. I prefer truth to propaganda.

of course not all Catholics supported Hitler. I'm not "seeming to imply" anything, other than a willing participation of the papacy in National Socialism.
