But predators? im not too much informed on that but do insect love as much both plant? food is food, leaves are leaves no? or is it because fem only have predator hunting for the buds/flowers??? i never really red about predators and cannabis :sthey dont produce alot because there job is to impregnate they arent producers
yes there thc % is really low maybe enough to make hash but i wouldnt bother with it unless i had a quarintine zone for a malethe genetics responsible for trich production and ratios are contained in the males also. it's not quite as beneficial though no. like corresponding females leaves will frost. they just don't produce the flower, like many species
i see! My next question now is why do they stop to produce thc when they get polinated? shouldnt it be a beter reason to produce even more to be certain that predators gtfo? or to have a more efficient sun protection so seeds/flowers dont loose their water too soon? I never understood why they stop producing it once they are pregnant for me it would be a beter reason to protect their seedds/childs or flowers?by producers meaning they dont make the flowers. the flowers get coated in trichs and resin thats in there genetics to do.
Logical, thankswell the reason thc production slows is because it then reverts all its energy into producing seeds at that point so it will dramatically lower your thc% in the end
LOOOOOL zoom in and look at the sort of face thing! it exactly look like this: D:https://www.icmag.com/gallery/data/500/12522Billede_052.jpg
who said they stopped producing after pollination?
even trapped a bug
Yeah hes not happy for sure :she looks scared ;(
This is by far the most.....................................elegant piece of creative writing I've ever read.LOL? your the one that said first '' OHHH I HAVE 30 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE STFUUUUUU '' i dont even know why im loosing my time your clearly stupid Mr expert pro mod 30 year of growing i know every fucking things. and BTW scumbag you still ignored again and again ( because you cant find an answer for it ) WHY DO WE HAVE T.H.C RECEPTOR IN OUR BRAIN IF ITS ONLY USED FOR A PLANT PROOOOOOOOOTECCTIOOOOOOOOON? HOW DID IT APPEARD IN OUR EVOLUTION IF ITS ONLY A PLANT PROTECTION ?!?!?!?! try to fucking answer that you old bastard but i know you wont cuzz you will just keep ignoring it and say that you right on everythings to not face the true fact that you are wrong and its still has unknown purpose that mr pro mod 30 year growing doesnt know! and that would hurt your ego since i would be right
What is the purpose of THC to marijuana plants? It doesn't kill plant pests. Yet the plant produces it for a reason.
I submit that it is to protect against ultraviolet radiation. It is found more prominently in flowering females because they have a high investment in seed production and they use it to protect against ultra violet (UV) light. This is why plants produce more THC at higher altitudes and at or near the equator.
THC and the other cannabinoids have quite a few protective qualities. They have antibiotic and anti-fungal properties as well. The physical quality of the resin and its placement in glands protruding from the leaf and flower tissue acts as flypaper, capturing some small pests in its stickiness. The cannabinoids have a profound affect on birds and mammals that might eat the substances, producing an intoxication that they may not find pleasant.
Although they are not cannabinoids, marijuana's odor-causing substances, mono and di-terpenes, also provide marijuana with protection from predators. Some animals find its odor repulsive or learn to associate it with an unpleasant experience.
The quality that you describe ? protecting the plant and the developing seeds from UV light ? is also true, and may be helpful to the plant. In a controlled experiment, high quality marijuana plants were grown under identical conditions, except that some were provided with UV light while others didn't receive it. The buds from plants receiving the UVB light had higher percentages of THC. This is an indication that the plant is using it as a protectant.
THC, or a derivative from it, should be studied to see if it does afford UVB protection and if it is a viable means of providing it.

Wow i fucking love you guys! Thanks Thats what i call a very good anwser to my main question Thanks alooooooooooooooooot ^^ very logical anwser and explanationSome say cannabis was carnivorous long ago in like dino age, used its trichomes to catch insects for food. Plants with desirable resins would result in plants with more food/strength. Humans have furthered this evolutionary process by allowing those plants we desire to live and others we usually kill off. Cannabis has successfully controlled humanity for well over 2,700 years enchanting us into cultivating it, it most definitely will survive even after humanities extinction.
Not into Darwinism? Then god created weed to fuck you up.
Yeah well im not too proud of me lol but the dude kinda pissed me off and i also was kinda getting trolled by a couple of person near that moment and i didnt had sleep for around 20h.. stupid insomniaThis is by far the most.....................................elegant piece of creative writing I've ever read.
