Average $ per lb top shelf flower?

I was curious to know what the average price of top shelf indoor flower go for to as a vendor? I have some extra and wanted to donate it to a club who would adequately compensate me for my labor and production costs? The strain is madman og.

I live in CA near Ventura/LA region.

A while back I got a sample submission form from a local dispensary that has a list of info to fill out about the specific strain and grow etc that I will include. I was looking at weedmaps.com to see what local dispensaries are pricing their products.

I was thinking of asking for $900qp, or $3200lb…?
I figured they will try and negotiate the price down so those prices account for that assumption.
I think my absolute bottom would be $700/2800lb!

What has been your experience if you’ve been in similar shoes?

I also have 42g of bubble hash that I made using the sugar leaves. I combined the 75 micron yield with the 43 micron. I was hoping to get around $840 for it. How is the market for top shelf hash these days?

I saw a post somewhere on this forum recently talking about how much dispensaries pay for product and all that and it wasn't very much at all. I'm not familiar with all of that though because I live reeeally far away from cali.. I'd try the search tool on here and see if you can find any info. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

What kind of feedback is that..

So I should get shit on for all my time and labor while the "compassionate clubs" charge you out the ass for just reselling it?!

They will likely resell it for $50-60 an eighth, $110 quarters, $400 oz

I can only donate it for what they are willing to offer.. that is why I am going to try and contact as many dispensaries as possible.

What do you think is fair? Have you been in these shoes?

Its been said alot on these forums... Especially in our area. The clubs will low ball you left and right. Good luck getting 2800 an lb for top shelf. They charge alot for product but do NOT pay for it themselves. You are far better finding some patients to hook up directly and cut them a fair price. Just my 2cents. Most clubs grow for themselves and vending to them is a nightmare.

Of course I am not growing professionally. If its your source of income you need to make connections with a business owner that is honest. I wish you luck man.

Never heard of that strain. You might be lucky to get 2500$. Only stuff I've seen going 2800$ is top shelf gsc or other in strains. Most clubs already grow for themselves. Walk In there and ask 3200$ they'll laugh. Unless you have connections they probably wont buy it.

gotta remember overhead, my brother, people bitch at me for charging 90 bucks an hour for automotive labor, but out of that 90 bucks, after all the BS, I get maybe 25 bucks out of it, and te amount of schooling, tools, equipment, and overhead, it's expensive.
same applies to a dispensary. Taxes, employee, workers comp, unemployment, rent, ELECTRICITY, etc, etc.
I'm not saying its cool,or that it's fair, but i'm saying that's WHY.
another thing i'm always worried about, is then YOU are in THEIR books, and if the feds really want you, under the separate sovereign rule, THEY CAN SEND YOU TO FEDERAL PRISON, if things change with our government, it's not likely, especially considering the proliferation of LEGAL pot in other states, but they could, if we get a different president with a bug up his ass.
plus the paper trail of taxes too.
I have about a KG of EXTRA killer herb just sitting in jars, because i'm too paranoid/careful to sell it with a PAPER TRAIL.
And like you, I'm a legal prop 215 cardholder in CA, but I don't know.... course I've been growin since the mid 90's when they had infrared choppers, and pg&e informants...
so maybe it's just me being "old-school" I still treat it like a schedule one (corrected cuz i'm a jackass), federally controlled substance. WHY? because it STILL is.

Now in Canada it seems that mj has been moved to schedule 2. There are no longer plea options for mj possesion. They have also moved it up so a defence lawyer is no longer nessesary as the offence within its self is no longer jailable or inditable.

Any advice on going about reaching out to patients directly? Have you heard anything good about bud trader.com?
