So there are these really rich guys who spend a small fraction of their enormous fortune purchasing politicians effectively influencing the way they vote in favor of their own corporate interests which go against American citizens interests.

You have a good point. Any time there is an unwanted and unneeded third party intervening in a consensual trade it has the possibility of skewing the market. Tariffs as a form of protectionism cheat the consumer and stifle innovation.

For a market to produce the most efficient results and be the "fairest" it should not be skewed or stifled. It should be freed.

Artificial concepts such as borders and regulations are forms of restriction that reward cronyism rather than ingenuity.

Wait until they start taxing air.

Am I the ONLY person that actually has a PV array and makes his own power and sells it back?

The first few years I couldn't break even, solar was costing me money compared to just using the Utility (Hydro Powered). Not until the higher efficiency panels started coming out did the cost factor almost become even. Now My system should be able to pay for itself the year before it has to be completely replaced. Once the new 25% panels are on the market, we will actually be able to provide power Cheaper than Fossil Fuel.

Thank you for supporting solar. You helped create the demand which led to innovative improvements at a time when it didn't really benefit you personally.

if he wants to get all angry and rant about us as "wimps", "liars", "hypocrites", "idiots", and "punk asses", he's gonna have to answer for his own history of blatant and constant lying (as posted above) which then makes him a hypocrite since he accuses others of the same.

and if he's too much of a wimp to live up to his own past, he shouldn't have spilled it all over the forum for us. that was his choice.
