Yeah I got the new piece from pax and the issue started again, it must be cleaned/lubed properly which isn't for lazy people, I'm being a little dramatic too............the biggest flaw is the charging stand, which allows all the gunk to run into the "electronics", once flipped 180 degrees it alleviates most of the issues; can thank some stoner I met @ a party for that gem.

I never buy the first run of an electronic product.......like others to do the beta test for me..........ha

A related addendum on the solo-

I forgot to mention another drawback on the solo is that even though it's got a traditional A/C plugin, it can only charge from the 12v transformer included.. supposedly it will "heat @9v" (I assume this means power instead of charge) as well, (says so on the bottom next to the hole you plug it into) but it only comes with a 12v transformer. This seems a little fundamentally unthoughtful designwise, and it's proven inconvenient literally every day because I always kill the battery at least once a day and have to let it recharge. It doesn't recharge super fast either, takes a few hours.

I bought a car transformer for it (which would be 9v so should provide heat instead of charge according to the little label) but I haven't tried it yet because I was thinking it was a charger... i'll give it a try, it would be cool to be able to try it as a "plugged in vape" instead of relying on the batteries, if it really does as I think the label intends to indicate...

Anyway--the basic tenet of the design I'm describing would of course be normal if it was a cradle situation... I wouldn't expect to be able to hit it while it's sitting in the cradle charging... but when they make it an A/C cord with a plug on the bottom it really feels like I should be able to plug it in and just go, maybe even while it's charging the battery too... but maybe that's asking too much of the parameters of the situation electronics-wise, I have no idea.

Anyway, it bugs me constantly because when I kill a battery mid session I either have to go smoke or wait a few hours before I can get a good session in. Especially sucks if I just happen to forget to plug it in at night and don't think of it til I want it the next day, haha. I'm getting real good at staying on top of it, but it is inconvenient, like having to set an alarm clock or load the coffee machine before bed or whatever.

i actually have an old 9v adapter around here somewhere, but I chopped off the end to attach it to a fan for a chamber, haha. Damn. I am gonna try it in the car... maybe it will prove convnicing enough to get me to drive that car down to radioshack and buy a 9v wall wart, heh.

NLxNL must be ready to come down soon, she's starting to throw some bananas out of desperation. I picked out the ones I could find yesterday. They leaves are still so green tho, overall! I've never had plants stay green so late through harvest. Must have done something right... or stunted the crap out of them when I was away, lol.

I'll probably take the NLxNL down sooner than later at this rate with the bananas coming in. I'll still give it a little time, it would be ideal if my trimming-demands were staggered rather than all at once anyway. I'll wait til this weekend probably, keep an eye on the nanners, let a few more hairs change...

Honestly this sativa is treating me so well that I almost want to harvest my indica early anyway, lol. But that's not necessary... I have all the kolossus coming too... I'll have plenty of sativa-leaning stuff overall. I'll need something to help get me to sleep, haha. I am still not going to let the NLXNL ripen past like 5-10% amber. Even now I'm not seeing much amber yet at all though so I think a few more days can't hurt as long as I keep an eye out for and continue to pull nanners.

Sometimes I wonder if I accidentally seeded my crop... I got some pollen and tried to produce some seeds with one of the males I pulled, kept him alive downstairs. I don't know if I harvested pollen right though. I applied some to one small nug at the bottom of each plant, with the fans off, very carefully. Then I waited a halfhour or so... then I misted the whole area around each of the target buds with a fine mist water sprayer to catch any loose pollen, then resumed activities as usual.

I feel like I followed the right procedure but maybe the pollen was taken too early. We'll see what happens. The father plant was a kolossus... figured it couldn't hurt to play around... unless of course I seeded my whole crop I don't think I did tho.. heh. I can't even find any signs of the seeds on the spots I intentionally put pollen lulz.

I've found that you can be very generous with the pollen. I used a tiny paint brush the first time and got one seed for each application. I was so mad. Next time I took the ziplock bag of pollen and put it over the cola and shook the shit out of it! Got hundreds of seeds from that one!

Thanks for the info Mo, that's very useful... I probably will get a few seeds max then based on what I did. I was super paranoid about kicking it into the air! But inside a bag is a great solution. Next time I guess! I got reg. Cheeseberry Haze seeds comin so maybe I'll end up with a male again, haha.



This Cinderella 99 is the shizzle. I am motivated, my mood is good, I am having fun, social, extroverted, and find myself happiest when creative and expressing myself either talking or singing or playing.

Way better than the last batch. I really didn't enjoy my last batch of c99 that much. It was too stimulation-focused, like almost amphetamine-y.. ironic that the earlier harvest would provide a less speedy experience. If not less speedy, it is at the very least definitely augmented in a slightly trippy way compared to the later harvest stuff. The other stuff was like taking something too strong, gave me some anxiety and shit... this makes me feel pretty carefree. This is actually the most anxiety-killing sativa I've had so far.

Appetite stimulation is good despite the lack of indica dominance.. and sleep came really easy and was restful, despite being up pretty late puffing on more cindy sativa vapes.

Wheeeeeee doggies! Okay, so... I thought I'd have to take down NLXNL next because of the nanners, but I'm tempted to let her go farther so I'm going to keep pickin them off if I see em and let it go for now. Still only the slightest traces of amber and it's in the leaves where I probably roughed it up... no amber in buds at all that I can see yet... so I'll give hre a little longer. On the other hand, yesterday I looked at the older Kolossus and instantly got a thought in my mind that it looked more orange that I remembered. I shrugged it off as being a symptom of the LED lighting, as I'm used to not looking at the plants til after I swap out for CFLs so my eyes don't hurt while I'm in there. With the lights switched it didn't look redder to me so I let it go for the day, but today I got in ther with my eye loupe and discovered that that first kolossus is about ready to go at this point. First thing in the morning before light cycle, she's getting a heady chop... I'll leave some little buds as I did with the c99 to ripen farther.

That is what I meant about "seeing" it when the buds are ready. It is like the buds all of a sudden have a different color to them. I wasn't sure the first time I saw it either but now I can see it every time!

ANyway.... 3/4 down, Kolossus 2 is still up, probably til tomorrow. I'm staggering to make trimming possible.

Hey man, I am back. Wow, whole new engine on the site, very nice... about time, hahaha.

I got pics and some numbers from harvesting everything... it's all in jars now... pretty nice overall... the older kolossus smells a little like pickles which is pretty weird. (No, it wasn't a pickle jar! haha)

I jarred them a bit early so I've been doing a lot of shuffling them in and out to crisp and resoften... what a pain in the ass... I miss high humidity drying...

The other kolossus is probably my favorite flavor wise... got that good good sweet bubblegum with a hint of spice flavor that I loved last time...

the C99 flavor mellowed into something a little more muted and spicy with time... it cured up nicely and is probably the best smoke I have right now. The Kolossus was harvested after the C99 and is easily second best in quality... the NLxNL was harvested next and is another step down in the curing process so it's still pretty green tasting but getting there... and then there's the other kolossus which I harvested last and smells like pickles... lulz.

I bought 3 cans of butane... going to be picking up a turkey baster and trying my hand at some oil making very soon... probably end up putting this pickle weed through that if it doesn't come around flavor wise with the cure....

p.s. I considered that the pickle scent might be a slight souring and a sign of some bad growth so I've been really aggressive about drying that K2... I leave it open for several hours and only rejar it once it's good and crisped up again. I just gave it a smell and the pickle smell is almost unnoticeable now... so maybe I jarred that one a little early and I was smelling the first signs of high humidity in there... no damage seems to be done but I do have one big ass cola amongst it so hopefuly there's no rot internally or anything. So far so good though smell wise...

I had a couple Scott's OG phenos that had a heavy garlic smell. It is a known pheno.

Yeah it might just be a pickley smellin plant, lol. I didn't notice it before drying though. I've gotten it to dissipate for the most part at this point now.

Good news, sannies received my cash and shipped my seeds, so I should see those soon and can start my next round.

I am also going to try to reveg a couple from this last round (the better Kolossus pheno and the C99 if she'll keep) so I can get some fresh clones to start as mothers because I liked both of em a lot.

I'll get the harvest pics up soon.. i haven't imported them and gone through em yet...
