Max Yield Potential

I had posted in the indoor growers thread but, realized that this forum is more inline with my questions.

I have a few grows under my belt using soil/coco and would now like to make the best use of my available space and go perpetual. I am thinking either hydro or aero but, am open to suggestions

I have:

-6x5 flower room

-4x4 tent available as a veg room.

-2 600w HPS

-1 400w MH or T5 for vegger

With the space available what kind of set-up would give the best/highest yields? (given the grower knows what he is doing).

Goal is around 2 LBS a month.

I have been looking into stink buds set-up and like what I see.

I am just finishing up a 6 plant grow right now (few more weeks left) so, I would like to get started as soon as possible.

Any input is appreciated.

If more info is needed I am happy to provide it.

Personally i like DWC with scrog training. Fimmed/topped a few times you can get 16 colas per plant at least 14g each. So 12-15 plants you could realisticly be looking at 6lbs/ 3 months.

Good luck though, sounds easy on paper:)

But, this route would not be perpetual correct? It would be 3 months from seed, harvest and start again.

I was looking into that option as well that way I just dedicate one room to growing and try to have the total amount average out to my monthly goal.

To anyone out there any preference between those two? Would the perpetual grow just have the advantage of a steady harvest or are there other advantages?

well you could say 6 lbs in 3 months to meet your 2 lbs/month and go from there to figure out what you need, would it make a difference if it was perpetual or not if you're just trying to figure out the equipment necessary?

Yeah, that is what I meant. I could just make sure my total meets my monthly goal. I do not really understand what you are asking in the second part but, I have no preference between the two.

Would it even be possible to get 6lbs in 3 months in a 6x5 room?

A 6lb harvest every 3 months would definitely be perpetual if you were able to maintain a consistent process.

The most important attributes to the desired outcome must have multiple plants, at multiple maturity levels, transitioning through multiple light periods.

Concentrate on maximizing your grow area and developing rhythm.

finding the right strain and doing F&D scrog in my opinion. 2 lbs a month in that area with those lights would take a lot of effort. I believe a more realistic number for someone that's just an avg/hobbiest would be 1/1.5lb a month. GL
