Ummmm kinda. I was on pain management. That's how I became addicted to pills. I got the mmj card for the same thing I was on pain management for. I used to have the same opinion on this as racerboy and Neo. Then I started watching documentaries and reading about all the medical benefits of cannabis. It really is an amazing drug, and the best part is I can grow my own.

I got my card 5 years ago. When I went in the doctor said "That's the best paperwork I've seen" I was sweating until he said that. Funny I only got my card to be as close as legal as I could and so I can by from dispensaries. Nothing related to medical what so ever. It just so happen that I had surgery on my hand so I used that as an excuse. If I had still good connections I may have not got a card probably.
I don't think I'm better than anyone having a card. Only once did a cop ask if I had one. He didn't even ask to see it. I think the arrogance comes from that people walk around high as Fuck and no one even knows they are high.

Smoking saved my ass at 3:14 in the AM once. Me and my wife were coming home from closing up shop.
So I was driving I was the most coherent. I stop drinking but had a full shot of Jaeger (it woke me up back then). Anyway I'm not gonna type the story but if I hadn't smoked before I left. IOENO Awwww man ! It was CHEECH AND CHONG SHIT !!!
Wife couldn't find the reg, insurance and was twisted. Granted she's a hottie (pic or it didn't happen) but she was saying all the wrong stuff. And after I asked "this left or the other left?"
Cops were cool as fuck ! BUT I WAS HIGH and clear eyes of course. Especially at 3 am in the metropolitan areas. I saw so many LEO. If I weren't high I would not have remained calm and coherent. Well, after. I said "this left or that left " pointing out the window.
Man I ain't getting caught. I ended probation in 2009 after hella years. If I do get caught its G onna be by my auntie and I'm be like "TIA I GOT A CARD THO!"

Oh my god. I never thought that people could think that people that have medical cards feel high and mighty about it. It's $35, they feel LUCKY.
I have been in jail in Texas for Marijuana, and I now (and have been able to for a few years) walk in a medical store.
I in NO WAY feel higher and mightier than anyone because of my medical card, and I REALLY doubt I am a minority.

To be honest i didn't know there was a stigma about people with mmj cards, i got mine to be safe from the law. Its not worth the risk of getting caught without one when its completely avoidable in states where its available. Only 45$ a year in California, its smart not arrogant.

I see you in the bay area . Where do you get your scrip from ? Last dispensary I went try to give me some shit about my original paper work. Questioning whether it was real. I got a SFBAYTHC scrip. I used to just show my plastic card. Not anymore tho

I thought it was just cuz I hadn't smoked in years. Is weed from dispensaries really THAT much stronger? I'd imagine home grown is pretty awesome .
