ChloroBA C2 LED
Member
Anyone considering buying ANY LED grow light from Bysen LED aka Shenzhen Baisheng Semiconductor Lighting Co Ltd should be made aware that Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) along with long time sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) have been ripping off SEVERAL customers in Canada, United States and the EU on a price fixing scam related to the new ChloroBA C2 LED grow light. How do I know this? Pretty simple, they ripped me off for a $45,000USD deposit on an order for 250 of the ChloroBA C2 LED grow lights.
I had agreed to assist in the marketing and distribution of the ChloroBA C2 in North America back in the fall of 2013. I was approached by Steven (Guo Jing) Yang and William Tang (Tong) and subsequently agreed to purchase the product (in bulk) for USD $300 per unit, the first order which would be 250 units for drop ship to north american customers that would be acquired through the web domains www.chloroba.com, www.chloroba.ca, www.chlorobaled.com and www.chlorobaled.ca (all of which are owned and operated by me). I had planned to retail the ChloroBA C2 online @ $499USD per unit, which is a fair price for a unit of this quality and a very decent return on my investment as a business opportunity.
To make a long story short, the owner of Bysen LED Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) began marketing the ChloroBA C2 direct to consumers at the INSANE price of $1499 USD and then went as far as sending anyone retailing LED grow lights online an email offering the ChloroBA C2 for $330USD providing that they purchase the original unit for the full price of $1499. The hook was that Bysen would protect the massive profit margins of around $1100 USD per unit by only selling the ChloroBA C2 direct to consumers for this outrageous price and subsequently the resellers would agree to also charge NO LESS than $1499 for the chloroBA C2 in an attempt to orchestrate a price fixing scheme.
Around the first week of January Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang) decide that based on the current success of their plan they would raise the wholesale price of the ChloroBA C2 led grow light to $1000USD. Needless to say everyone involved (including myself) were outraged at this bait and switch we were all just swindled into. Myself, I bowed out and told Bysen manager William Tang that he was a complete moron and that I wanted my $45,000 USD deposit returned and that Tang and everyone else involved could shove the ChloroBA C2 up their asses because there is NO WAY IN HELL that a light that costs around $120USD to manufacture is worth a dime over $500 at retail!!!!
This is where the Chinese clusterfuck starts... All of a sudden William Tang is quitting Bysen LED because of the tragedy that has occurred, he claims Yang has lost his mind and that now I will be dealing with his replacement Shawn Tang (kinda sounds fishy right... William Tang, William Tong turns into Shawn Tang who also calls himself Shawn Tong). Anyways, my wholesale price is now offered at $800 per unit for the C2, I decline. At this time I have sent several emails to William Tang and cc'd Shawn Tang and Steven Yang on these emails asking for the return of my $45,000 deposit. And as you can probably imagine I am getting the complete run around from these scammers. Next thing that happens, Chinese new year approaches where everyone in China is on holidays for the next 2-3 weeks! Meanwhile my $45K is STILL in limbo... So, I get an email from Shawn out of the blue agreeing my new wholesale price is $389USD per unit plus another $67.50 to drop ship into North America. Obviously there is a disagreement about how the chinese will split profits and this is why the prices are all over the map at this point. At this point I am like whatever, I will sell the 250 ChloroBA C2 units and get my investment back, call it lesson learned and never deal with these scammers again. I just want my money back at this point!!! (As you can see in the image attached Shawn Tong acknowledges that 100 of the C2 units are ready to go before Chinese New Year starts and he requests that I send the remaining money to the new Bysen LED company bank account. I request that Shawn ships the 100 units that are completed to my North American address and I will pay for the remaining 150 units when they are ready to go after the new year. Obviously I am VERY leery of sending them another dime at this point given the gong show.I figured if I get the 100 units I can cut my losses and move on. I WAS NOT prepared for what happened next!
William Tang is now missing in action and wont return an email or skype message and Shawn Tang is telling me he (William) has now stolen every customers money and disappeared... BULLSHIT!!!! This is a well documented Chinese scam tactic that is well publicized on the internet, my boss ripped you off, you sent money to the wrong bank account, so sorry for your loss... Go FUCK yourselves Steven Yang, William Tang and Shawn Tong!!! I've been dealing in China for 5 years with several of the LED grow light manufacturers and have confirmed that indeed William Tang is still the manager over at Bysen. So, here I sit out $45,000USD and I'm in the middle of a HUGE scam orchestrated by Bysen LED owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang). I'm guessing that they think if they keep my money that I will just eventually disappear because I really have no legal recourse in the communist country of China.

How wrong they are! I have been in contact with the Chinese police department in Shenzhen as well as the Chinese trade council here in North America and criminal charges are pending at this time. In the meantime I have put up the www.chloroba.com website to warn potential customers of the underhanded business dealings of Bysen LED and the ChloroBA C2 LED grow light scam. I am compiling all of the evidence (which is overwhelmingly conclusive against Bysen) and posting it all on the www.chloroba.com website. In addition, I have been receiving SEVERAL submissions from retail customers that have broken ChloroBA C2 grow lights and cannot get warranty support from Bysen as well as online resellers that have lost as much as $10,000 USD in the Bysen LED ChloroBA C2 scam.
I have dealt with many of the LED grow light manufacturers in Shenzhen over the past 5 years and I can assure every single one of you that Bysen LED will leave you hanging on warranty if they don't decide to just keep your money. In fact they screwed me on over $80K on warranty over a 3 year period in addition to the $45K deposit on the chloroBA LED fiasco.
The moral of this story is that Bysen LED WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH BYSEN LED!!!
As for my $45,000... Well if I do get it back I will be surprised, however in the meantime I still own these cocksuckers online and will continue to post the overwhelming evidence of the underhanded business dealings of Shenzhen Baisheng Semiconductor Lighting Company Ltd aka Bysen LED and owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang).
Bysen LED, Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang), please consider the $45,000 USD you stole from me a downpayment on your demise!
If anyone has evidence of the underhanded dealings of Bysen LED feel free to post your experiences here and at www.chloroba.com
If you are purchasing a LED grow light anytime soon keep this in mind...
1) DO NOT deal with anyone offering to sell you a light at an incredible price that uses a free email service like hotmail or gmail, YOU WILL be scammed! Insist to see an email using in the format of [email protected], 98% of the sellers listed on Alibaba can't provide this because they are commissioned students that make about 3 dollars a day fencing garbage for people like Bysen owner Guo Jing Yang (a.k.a., Steven Yang) and sales manager William Tang (a.k.a William tong, [email protected]) and current Bysen LED manager Shawn Tong (a.k.a Shawn Tang).
2) DO NOT send money via wire transfer or western union or YOU WILL be scammed! Tell the little monkeys you prefer to use Paypal. Paypal verifies every users identity and offers protection in terms of insurance against fraud. Consider Paypal the condom that protects you from Chinese scam disease
3) Buy from a company based in north america that has stock on hand and ships the product from a north american address. This is your best chance at getting warranty support from a reputable company. If the unit is drop shipped out of china you can consider the warranty a figment of your imagination as the chinese have no intention of honoring this warranty. They will tell you what you want to hear... 3 year comprehensive warranty, 255w lights that produce 5 pounds of bud per plant, etc, etc... all bullshit.
Anyways, I will update this thread as the evidence is released and as my particular case unfolds.
Peace!
