Buying seeds online - is it safe?

Hey,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but. Basically dude I am doing my first real grow, thinking of buying seeds online 'cause I dont know anyone who sells them local and I dont wanna go thru all that effort for bagseed. However I live in a state where it is not legal to grow weed.

I know theres a lotta sites that sell seeds online and people say theyre good but is that really "safe" enough? Im worried customs will intercept it, open the box or something and trace it back to me. Im thinking of getting it sent to a foreclosed house down my st but it seems like a lotta work to do that. My next option will be to send it to my PO box but cops could easily trace me from my PO box. What do I do guys? Is it safe enough or am i gonna get busted? Im not buying anything crazy, were talkin like 5 seeds.

Idk if im just being paranoid or what lol. Advice from fellow tokers?

If you're worried about customs grabbing it stay away from attitude. They have been great in the past but as of late orders (especially those going through Chicago customs) have been getting confiscated. With that said. Order from attitude. I ordered twice last month with them and both arrived within 7 days of the order date. Herbies also doesn't charge extra for stealth/super stealth shipping(attitude does)

the worst that happens is customs gets them and in place of your beans, you get a letter saying you were a bad bad bad boy or girl in the place of your gear..
nothing else will happen..
some people here have issues buying seeds, not me of course, but some people. oh wait, it is me, n/m..

See i heard of Herbies stealth shipping but i was actually thinking of ordering from Bonza Seeds since they allow for small amounts of seeds, and I was only thinking of getting not very many (Just dont have a lot of cash right now) Herbies doesnt sell less than 5 seeds/order.

Do you have any experience with Bonza Seeds? Or does anyone have experience with Bonza Seeds security they can share? Just curious. Thanks guys

if using a credit card then most places need the shipping address the same as the billing address. just use your credit card and have it delivered to your house or have someone else order them for you to their house.

to send to a different address then you will need to send cash or money order before they will ship them.

a pre-paid card will need to be registered with your info and then it will need to be activated for international use.

Stop being so damn paranoid and have it sent to your house. If anything use a different first name for shipping address. I've done that with herbies and everything goes thru just fine.

Its safe as long as you use the common sense rules. I have bought mostly from the tude all go via Chicago never lost and order in 15 years knock on wood. i had 4 orders last year 3 so far this year and about to do a 4th. Do not use your personal credit card use an international prepaid with no id tagged to it. Green dots usually dont work. Use proxies to create an email just for this purpose and when going to the site. You should be using a few proxies when coming to this site to hide your ip since this sites servers are on US territory they can grab all records. A good start is like hidemyass.com . Do not send seeds directly to a house you will grow in. Do not use a real name on the package doesnt need to have one they deliver to the address not the name. Money orders work but are slow and make sure its not from your own bank.Do not order lots of seeds at once. Do not get the breeders packs and do not get the stealth option as those are the ones who get caught at customs. Single seed fems are best as i seed will last decades via clones and also making your own fem seeds from that one. Also do not send to a pox box in your name. The longer they sit at the post office the more likely they will be noticed especially in metro areas due to dogs being walked in larger post offices.

See this is where im confused man. Im hearing from one guy to be super cautious and im hearing from other people that its toally fine to ship to my home address. One of you says use herbies stealth one of you says dont. Can I just get a straight answer? Can anyone agree on this?

i disagree with a few things fletch said. personally, never order with a fake name as sometimes the postal worker won't deliver a package to an addy if he / she doesn't know the name for that address.. not always, but it's a risk you don't need to take.. and what if they don't leave it and leave a note saying you need to come to the po to pick it up? when this happens, they ask for id for the package.. unless you happen to have fake id for the fake name you used, you're sol.. it's just an added risk that doesn't need to be done imvho..
i order crap to my house all the time.. the worst thing that'll happen is that customs sends you a letter, and at the bottom of the letter, it says no further actions will be taken.. i order tons and tons of beans..
have i ever lied to you? lol.. i also just use my visa debit card.. they will send the beans to an address that isn't the same as the billing address on the cc..

just order some beans m8 and get them sent to your place.. it's by far and away the least risky part of growing cannabis, of course, imvho..

lol at the last line, this is very true.. it can be very addictive.. i have more beans than i could grow in a life time, yet i keep ordering more. nothing pisses me off more then wanting something and not buying them when i see them for sale and then having them be sold out for years and years after i don't buy them.. pisses me right off..

get a po box. i feel safer doing so. iv been arrested for weed and was worried til i ordered. havent stopped even after customs raped me....
