Most of the heavier yielding, indoor Indica doms (on Attitudes pages)
advertise a yield of 450 to 550g/m2.

KALISHNIKOVA claims a YIELD of 750g!!!

I find this estimate a little hard to believe....

Surely, if GHS sold a strain that produced 750g/m2
whilst Critical +, Darkstar, White Widow and Big Bud peaked at 550g/m2
KALISHNIKOVA would be LEGENDARY for COMMERCIAL GROWERS
(completely eclipsing commercial favourites such as Critical Hog?).

Is this more of the G H Seeds 'style over substance' marketing strategy???
Or have YOU had experience with KALISHNIKOVA and found it to be a TOP YIELDER....?

GHS ...is that Arjan and the other fucks that go so called 'landrace hunting' in 3rd world shit holes trying to find the original canna plants ...see you tube. AVOID GHS like the plague, as its desperate times for these dudes, ever since
Arjan fell out with his buddy over the new white widow ....er sorry BLACK WIDOW ...lol
But what really gets me with these cowboys ...is that they have been in just about every canna country in the world ...got the seeds ...but you stilll can't buy the land race from them .....DAH!!!!!

I watch those G H SEED Dos (strain hunters) because there's a very limited amount of M J T V, so I watch everything.
But I do find ARJAN and his team really fucking annoying!
He obviously has a massive ego - and wants to publicize himself as much for the fame
as for the business.
I don't particularly like Arjan, the buck toothed Italian (who is supposed to be an ex-SAS type)
or the white kid with the dreadlocks who stays in the background - looking like a stoner.
(I fucking hate to see dreadlocks on white kids - they look filthy!).

Arjans partner was that Australian who calls himself Shiva Shanty, or something.
(pretentious knob head - his real name will be something like Norman Barraclough).
Now he's teamed up with Howard Marks to form Mr Nice.

Having said all that I have heard good reports about G H Seeds products.

Its not what everyone else say about these guys, I watched these guys travel to remote countries getting these pure? strains, cataloging them, and one would think grow them out in the NL and sell them thru their GHS shop ....but no way, so what the heck are they collecting them for>..?

There's also a seed breeding company called STRAIN HUNTERS
some think they're the G H Seeds people
I don't think it is.

They are, they changed the name of their company because they have a horrible reputation. Go to GHS website and it links straight to strain hunters. It's not that hard to deduce they are the same people, there is even pictures of them all on the strain hunters site if I am not mistaken.

I have heard Kalishnikova as being the worst strain several people have ever grown, why not go for an AK variety from someone else. They all yield pretty well.

I thought it is funny how the strain hunters from greenhouse go to countries to "save" these landraces while at the same time giving the growers with the landraces their own greenhouse genetics to pollute the landrace they are trying to save?

it does not make any sense to me. perhaps to them it does but I would figure that doing so will only ensure the landrace will disappear sooner.

Maybe that's Arjans plan. Infest the native area with their shitty genetics and then the only place people will be able to get these land races will be through GHS. I dunno. I don't pay them much attention

I read the letter from Arjan in page 3 or 4 where he states a dozen or so times how many seeds he sells a year compared to shanti/mr.nice while he is correct he does sell seeds he never seems to mention it's all due to marketing and cannabis cups. I have heard the ones in Amsterdam the winner a lot of times is the guys giving the most weed away. I do not know he real facts but this sounds likely. Mc.Ds sells more hamburgers than any other joint in the world and it certainly has nothing to do with quality. availability, marketing and being cheap is what sells.

I also have had a negative experience with Greenhouse, twice. the names were familiar(magazine adds), the seeds were cheap, fem and every seed seller had them. for an uneducated buyer it looked liked a godsend.

I also like how his feminized seeds have turned the poor black Africans lives around, so he says. now they make ten times as much cash and can afford head nets, lol. there goes the landraces there he was trying to save. how many poor black African farmers are really buying and growing greenhouse femed seeds? wouldn't the practical poor farmer keep seed stock? or would the famer hit the net and buy 5 packs of colored seeds? of course he gave them all, millions of them his seeds.

I don't normally get on the hate bandwagon but he is not as honorable as he wants to tell everyone he is.

There is nothing worse for a grower than wasting both the time and electricity to end up with what amounts to industrial hemp. So feel free to rant.

I would rather pay a rock solid breeder more $$ upfront than to hope I get lucky on a good pheno. Why do strains have to have bad phenotypes to begin with?.

They shouldn't, yet even reputable breeders seem to have this issue at times.

haha, nice. Probably right! I grew the Kalashnikova and it was average on everything, smell, taste, high and yield.

I have never had one good strain from them, glad Michigan has it's own kickass genetics
