Collodial Dunking

When trying to force a hermie with colloidal silver, people always say to use a sprayer, and be very careful not to get any overspray on the buds that you are wanting to smoke.

I supposed most would as do I, just take a cutting and use it for seed, but if you had a plant limit, copying the plant might not be legal, or quite simply, space might be too limited to grow an additional plant.

Collodial spray is toxic as I have read, but as to what extent, and the consequences of ingestion, I do not know. Therefore, I don't want any contamination on my plant.

Necessity is the mother of invention indeed. I just scrapped the sprayer idea, and just gave one of the lower branches a bath, instead of a shower every 12 hours until I got balls. XD.

You made your own colloidal silver dunk ...I presume...? recommended to be 30-50ppm...when you dick falls off or you turn blue please let us know how that feels....?

I thought silver colloidal was poured into the soil the first few weeks of veg. to help fight against disease.

I don't know what the ppm is, I ordered a TDS meter and a Ph pen today. What I do know, is that what I did, worked.

Never heard of it added to the soil.

This is the stuff I was thinking about it is a sample that was given to me by a grow shop. I tried it in one of my plants when I grew outdoor last year it was okay I guess. My plant didn't hermaphidite,so that was a plus other than that maybe I didn't use enough I can't say it didn't work, my plants all came out fine. I was really concerned about using this in my garden seeing that I like organic, but I told the shop owner I would test it out and give him some feedback...lol. He told me right off the bat though do not spray the plant..LOL.

No worries my friend we all learn something new on here...lol. including the pros ( I was not referring to myself). I have been growing for 10years, but I love to experiment with new stuff. It fills my brain and my time... However I have avoided hydro for years when it comes to experimenting. One of these days though...

CS is toxic to most organisms , Humans are not one of them . But that is not to say it is not poisonus however that is debateable

Many many people ingest CS solutions in many different ways drink,vaporize, up the but, IV, IM, ect. , ect. the only ones that have ever reported any problems from it are those that took a product made with a 'salt' seeded solution (they turned blue no real health problems) and they took MASSIVE amounts daily of highly concentrated solutions , actualy emulsions

The fumes CS gives off when burned is toxic. I wouldn't even risk using buds that got overspray on them.

^ right. I solder, reload, and I weld. From experience I can say without hesitation that breathing vaporised metal, especially soft metals, is very very bad for you.

I used that same product, I got it free from the Maximum Yield Expo. I foliar sprayed a plant with it every day for the first two weeks of flower and it grew 100% male flowers. That stuff worked great, just follow the directions...

Unfortunately, I think this is no longer true. I've read headlines that he died a few years ago from natural causes.

But I could list 100's or likely 1,000's of different compounds contained in MJ that when smoked are or become toxic , and many at much higher rates than anything that would reside after spraying with a CS solution

And many are metals ....... n P K + micros

LC, Every report I have read says '... DO NOT USE ANY BUDS THAT HAVE BEEN TREATED ......". Go ahead and smoke it that is what you believe. Hopefully other members here will do a little research and not just blindly follow somebodies bird brained advice....

I dont know how gave you what advice but it was not me ..

I merely stated opinion , supported by some facts
