Ah really? Was hoping it would be less but never mind I can concentrate on keeping them healthy as possible.

Some pics with the set up back how it runs best...

Thinking of a possible scrog on the next grow, what's people's thoughts on micro scrogging? Good results? OK in my space? Not for auto flowers?

i recommend a screen for anyone with less then 3 ft of max headroom inside, it boosts your yield, in my case about an extra 10 grams, by spreading the canopy out and getting light to the bottom part of the plant that would normally be shaded.

Yeah me too!!

So I bought a little micro scope for cheap as chips and managed too get a snap of my forming trichomes! Which I thought I'd share :)

Tell me more about this vertical scrog oO I'm intrigued
well ive got the whole plan in my head and all the equipment i need to build it but lagging because i dont have a stealthy location for it yet.anyways, im using a 400w cooltube i got from the hydro shop for 300 bucks its 6" in diameter and im using a 6" 160 cfm fan to cool it. it will hang vertically inside the cabinet which is a hollowed out and customized entertainment center.the fan will suck cool air in through the bottom and blow it up through the light and out the back. the screen will be placed around the cooltube about 6 inches away from the glass. the screen will wrap all the way around the tube except for a slot in the back the size of the tube. the floor of the cab is a rolling shelf that held the tv and the screen and containers will roll out away from the light when i need to clean the containers and for nute changes. ill be using 2 two plant containers one on each side so 4 plants total.ill veg the plants into the screen which when wrapped around maximizes the area to about 5 sq ft instead of a flat scrog filling the same area would only get about 2 sq ft. im hoping to pull off at least a qp. 1 ounce per plant but i remember years back pulling 2 oz per plant with a 400w..so it will be interesting to see and definitly a good thread for RIU.

That sounds interesting man I'll follow that for sure! Been looking around the vertical section there's some real interesting growths going on in there!

Anyone know how much more vertical growth I can expect in the taller plant? Seems too have slowed since the initial flowering stretch

They never really stop growing until like the last three or four weeks of flower, in my experience. There's a big stretch in flower and then the colas grow and the bud grows:weed:

Update! Nothings changed just like taking pics :)

How much importance do u place on spraying a plant? I only asked as I have not once sprayed either.

Day 42ish

Hey Hanky, you're looking nice!!

Most of the growers avoid spraying their ladies during flowering just to avoid the risk of mold and stuff!!
During veg though, it gives a nice boost spraying them during their day (if temps are kinda cool and lights not too close) or better yet, a couple minutes before lights go out!

Cheers!!

i spray once a day during veg especially if the humidity is low but NEVER spray during flower for just what cooldude said fear of mold and fungus and bud rot. but my next harvest i will experimenting with light intermitten spraying with pure water. i mean maybe a couple or three four times but thats about it.

Personally I look at it as totally optional. I'll also echo what others have said as far as it's fine to do during veg, but not a good idea during flowering due to mold, rot, etc...

Also like CoolDudeStuff said, spraying just before the lights go off is the best time to do that. If you spray during during lights on, then basically the water droplets on your foliage act as tiny magnifying glasses for the light and can scorch your leaves.

I've never sprayed any of my plants so far, not because I think its bad or anything, just never seem to be able to find the time to do it near lights off. I even have a bottle of Magic Green if I ever do decide to give it a whirl...
