Mine was in the 25, but in any case that's good news to me Mo, thanks. This is such a learning experience ,I guess I'm coming to the conclusion that only way to be sure of every step is to do each and every one yourself. I better get myself some beans !
Mo their are still tons of good left. with the 25 i would add this to butter or oil and make goodies or candy.

still got to wonder why the dry ice only collects when I add a tiny bit of water to it compare it to a cold water bath

hey i just run a bag of 16 month old larry og in my 8 bags and i got something similar to stabilised oil, the stuff was so gooey that i was stuck to my screens even wet ! what a pain in the ass to remove..but the stuff is crazy ! it's been two days, i am gonna wait a week but i am thinking about not curing it since the trichomes have been curing for more than a year now..what do you think ? should i wait longer still ?

Hey Frenchy, Just did first try with being very fastidious about the trim being super clean of twigs and leaves In addition I used half the material I usually use but the same water level and a bit less ice. The yield surprised me almost the same as I got using 2x as much and the 3 washes [73]look identical, so quality is looking good! One question though, when I filter the water through the 25 before discarding I've been getting hairs and or fibers . I'm very careful about cleanliness so if this is not normal I guess the trim is not clean enough though I've never found this in any previous attempts prior to using the 25? I paid attention to your advice on spin time too :)
Yes my friend, less is more! You will find a lot of contaminants in your 25 microns, they were sieved through the bigger meshes but are too big for the 25. Totally logic and normal. The quality find in the 25 is good for edibles not for smoking.

Yes you did have a perfect cure and some of the trichomes but you are using water to collect those trichomes so if you want to press you will have to do another cure after pressing but it is mostly a guaranty against mold and 2 to 3 weeks should be plenty enough especially if you are drying in good conditions. You strike gold by the way. Hash makers who believe that only trims frozen fresh can deliver quality, think again………...

Thanks for clarifying this. Do you find a lot of new people assume the 25 is the best resin?

Hey Frenchy.Thank God you're still monitoring this thread.I'm so dissapointed at my last bubble hash run.I got 220Micro , 160Micro, 120Micro , 73 Micro ,25 Micro + 1pc Pressing screen.I've put them in this row 73-120-160-220 and 73 was the first bag to collect the tricomes.I did not have much trim and my biggest mistake is that i let plant material throught the first bag (73micron). I did use a mini washing machine with 1 layer of ice, then a little water, then trims, then another layer of ice and then ice cold water again.I mixed them for about 10 mins.I did not have much trim but i would at least expect to take 2-3-4 grams ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/151176306284?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I used those bags. It's not the highest quality but they should have caught something right ? Where did i go wrong ? And how should i prevent the plant material going inside my bags ? Also i should place them from 220 to 73 next time? Thanks for your time and your dedication.Iwould like to have this info solid, cause i'm pretty confused and dissapointed right now..

Hey Dude
I'm not frenchy but it sound like you had the bags backwards. 220 is the first bag to pour through, it catches all the plant material and big junk. hope this helps.

You have to use the 220 bag to catch most of the plant material. Then the 160, it will catch a little contaminants with the resin glands and is usually good only for edibles but with some strains you can get lucky. Then comes the 120 which I personally do not use but which should give you very clean result, then the 73 for the best result and the 25 which usually is good only for edible. By going form the bigger mesh to the smaller you eliminate contaminants by stage if you see what I mean.

Ah well.Stupid me ! Thank you very much frenchy.15 min is the time i should let them mix inside the washing machine ? And i could probably do 2 maybe 3 runs ? I think i'll go with that you said mate..It's words i give much credit..!! Also, there is no point filtering the water that already passed through my bags ? I got everything i need right ? Really really thanks for your time.I'll be posting my hash pics as soon as i get it ready.:)

Friends, I made a dumb mistake yesterday .Since I used only half as much us usual I figured I'd do 2 runs one daytime and one in the evening. I was so encouraged by the results of the first run I did a second in spite of being quite tired [quite shanti too]
Couldn't figure out why I had nothing in my 160 then 73 I had mistaken my 25 for the 190 !!!! I've mentioned that Boldtbags was back ordered so I got my 190 and 25 locally[ aside from being of a lessor quality they look almost identical this is not why I goofed but it didn't help] Anyway, suffice to say that I had to re run the material and of course lost some quantity and quality in the process. Imagine my surprise upon reading the post by grorx this morning. Grorx, don't feel bad bruddah I knew better and messed up the sequence of bags . Next time you'll nail it !

15 minutes is long and kind of hard on the trims, that much time is mostly for fresh trims. Start your first spin with 5 to 8 minutes and see what you get, if it's super clean add a few more minutes for the second spin. It is always better to get your trichomes by small increment, as long as you get them all and if you don't care for the extra work it's much better.
The water has nothing much to offer after going through the 25 microns, good for watering. All the best

Absolute focus is the name of the game. It is hard to keep for hours on hand and the type of mistake you made happen to us all.

Ah Frenchy!. Thanks a lot mate.I was using trims that i let in the fridge for about 14 days.No drying tho, they were let there after my trimming was dne.Maybe that was an issue as well? I'll definitely do this right .I gotta eliminate what i did wrong tho :D . I see your points, thank you !

Keeping fresh trims in the fridge is not a bad move, better than in the freezer as long as I am concerned. It is not the issue, you just did not use the bags correctly, that's all.
