I lost my job here and I'm taking it as a sign from God. I'm sick of fighting the high cost of living here and the fact that I've only gotten to go skiing one time this season because we have so little snow. We've been really stressed over leaving because our son was not moving back south with us (can't blame him!). So, we've hatched a plan to move to CO and get into the weed biz and now he is totally jazzed to move with us. I know nothing about the laws or what it will take to get into this. My wife is an amazing southern gourmet certified chef and is very interested in doing medibles. We don't have a lot of money but we've got a little and we have a little bit of income to sustain us and a legit herb and spice business we can work, so we can float along for awhile without money from the biz. We want to get in on the ground floor (like everybody else) but we want to do this right. The plan is for me to go first and find a place. What we have in mind is a place "out of town" - not in Denver or CO Springs. My son will be needing a job and my wife can work the spice biz while I focus on the grow. I would be very thankful for any advice from someone living there. Our lives literally depend on making the right choices; we can't afford to make another mistake.
