Read my post and you'll know.if it doesnt say what K the light is on the blub and or pack then how else will you tell ? with out pluging it in and testing it ?

That is also the case in the US. If you come across a package that doesn't say what type of light it is, it is more than likely soft white or around 3000K. Soft white gives out light that is very similar to the typical incandescent bulb. Since most people buy these for replacement bulbs, they sometimes don't write any description on the box.not that i would ever use a cfl to grow.!!
But I did look in the shops (uk) and some dont even say what K they are or anything about being soft white, cool white ect
Which is why I said you would have to test it to find out what type it is.!!
