Hey JD was ppm or EC do you shoot for?

I switched to my GH liquin nutes to get the huge juss used up for garage floor space.

The Lucas formula says to use 8ml micro and 16ml bloom per gallon.
For me that came to almost 1500ppm and 2.1 EC

That just seems way too high!!

EDIT
After a flood cycle it reads 1450ppm (.70 scale) and 2.0EC

Dude...I just mix and splash. LOL!

I add ProBlend at 20 ml per gallon and then add Cal-Mag, Silica Blast
(if I have it), Liquid Karma, B-52/BigBud/Overdrive (depending on the week),
and then some kelp gunk or even a couple of tablespoons of fish food.

I just watch the plants. I have only really burnt tips when I had my
molasses to add. That stuff has a lot of N!

Sorry! I need to up my game....I am supposed to be a scientist! :0)

I guess the KISS and Lucas formula say to do it, so Ill see what happens.
I do think that Ill dilute it a lil since my tap is 150 ppm though.

Maybe 7ml Micro and 14ml ml bloom instead of 8 and 16

Good morning all.

0 whole tent.jpg

I took a slew of shots yesterday, but they are not all that inspiring, as
the camera just cannot do justice to, say, a "Bubba Bush" (as I am calling it ;0)
that is a full three foot tall bush, when all you can see of it is the top face:

The Ace Of Spades is REALLY impressing, I must say:

3 AOS.jpg
This plant has the best structure in the tent right now, along with The Dog.
I really should spread The Dog out a bit....the AOS is doing this for itself.

wow JD they look great. thanks for sharing those pics.

i bet if your lighter fell out of your pocket, it would bounce off the canopy because there are no holes anywhere for it to fall thru.

LOL, yeah, that's about it. Thanks for taking the time SaC.

I can also report that the Psycho Killer and Deep Psychosis showed
enough sex for me to up-pot them to their hempys.

Psycho Killer:
Psycho Killer 1.jpg
Psycho Killer 2.jpg

Deep Psychosis:
Deep Psychosis 1.jpg
Deep Psychosis 2.jpg

Both of these two plants have had a ridiculous amount of Veg time already,
while I waited for pre-flowers to confirm their sex. I topped them both after
they had grown pretty tall, but I buried them up to the split top.

The second shots show the structure I am working with....very nice IMHO!

Onward and upward,

I should have added that my Ace Of Spades is at day 30.

30! I think that I am seeing very good development for this point
in the process.

I am going to be putting the Sour Cherry #1 into the center row
and will be lifting it up too. I want it to get more attention for it's
last 3-4 weeks. I will be swapping the Cheese Surprise and
Bubba Bush, to give the CS better finishing light as well.

Thanks Mad. Can you point us to the thread that shows how
to deal with Slime In Hydro using Teas?
Damn... I have read that one. I know it was penned by either 'Heisenberg' or 'Highsenberg' as far as I recall. Another fine fella to talk to on the topic is Genuity, I know he has an account here but I don't have him as a contact/friend. Organic hydro, Genuity is the man.

Mostly I think it boils down to using incredibly small amounts. Genuity uses a solo cup per 5 gal as far as I recall. As in one solo cup of tea diluted in his 5 gal res. This is the one thing I saw in Genuity's organic hydro grows that was different from everybody else, he dilutes the teas WAY down. I think one will find him on Gandalf's friend list they both grow for Gage.

I have been lazy as all hell with my research JD. Soon as summer season is over and bad weather forces me back indoors and behind the PC I will get back onto it. The whole slime in organics thing is a priority for me to research soon. Keep me posted if you find anything :)

Awesome stuff JD. That AoS looks phenomenal. I can't wait to see the Apollo at day 30, loving your TGA choices.

That Sour Cherry looks like she almost did her own vert scrog thing in the corner of your tent from that angle. Looks sweet.

Well, I went into the tent this morning.

I wanted to reposition the Sour Cherry and Cheese Surprise to get
better light for the last month of development.

I find that plants in the middle row get better light, given the
configuration of my lamp.

So, I moved CS and SC into this middle row, where they had
been in the two back corners previously.

Here is the result:
6 Plants Repositioned.jpg
...much better!

I took a few shots while I was at it.

The Cheese Surprise really shows the scaring from the Kapow! but no bugs,
so I am not complaining:

In that whole tent shot you can see that I had a brainstorm....

I decided to flower new clones from two breeds that I have not
confirmed the sex of yet, Jake's Dreams and Blue Pit.

This is what I came up with:

LOL, then I repositioned the plants and had to move one of them
to over with the AOS:

Take care,

Sorry the Kapow got ya a little bit. I guess some plants may be more sensitive... but like you said.. No bugs....LOL Stuff is killer. I do maintenance sprays once a while in veg just to make sure. Seems like mites are super prevalent out here.

I really appreciate the good word on Kapow! still SG. No worries there.

Fuck, I will spray the stuff just to enjoy the scent myself!

OK Bass, I was too lazy to run back and find your post about
the formula, again, but I did just grab this:

It does smell super good. :-) Plus, it totally kills off pests. It worked over all else for me. Now I just do regular maintenance on them bugs or not.

LOL, I think that I will use mine to treat the tent. Yum.

I already use the Go-Gnats in this fashion. I kinda pour
a line across the entrance to my tent. I want to help control
the things that might come in from the vegetable garden.

It is only some plants that seem affected too.

How long do you wait before rinsing it off? The instructions
say 24 hours. I am wondering if 4-6 hours might still benefit
the more sensitive plants.

Interesting stuff, all the same.
