Boveda Humidity Pack.

Just used these for the first time and wanted to let everyone know what a great curing product they are. All you do is put one of the packets in any type of sealed jar ( mason jar etc.) and it keeps your bud at a perfect humidity. (I use a 4 gallon stainless steel food grade sealed container with a internal cage for the pack... CV Vault) I have noticed that my meds smoke, taste, and smell better. I also have a certain way i harvest as well... I determine up to the morning when the harvesting will take place, so when the day comes i let the lights stay off for an extra couple of hours and then cut and hang in the dark while using a green light head mount. This way they are at peak level with trichomes. No burping, just set the container somewhere and it does its thing. Any suggestions or advice on this method would be appreciated.

the bud still needs to be dried close to that range then they will do the rest. if the bud is still 70% or over i dont think the packs can handle that imo. i buy new packs every other harvest though i let them go with the meds. im starting to use the large packs for half gallon jars now. i really like them though and takes the worry out of it when you leave it curing for a while. i just keep a hydrometer int he jar till it reads close to 62% then i leave it alone.

They take out the smell and flavor, I was working at a collective that used them religiously for a while and we lost the smell of every strain we had.

I have found that they do quite the opposite, this was my first try and the results are undeniable,,,,i will use them every time from now on

I agree. I have found that using BP's increases the aroma and smoothness. I jarred buds with and without the packs and the ones with the packs are smoking better. Just from my personal experiences. I could be wrong about this, this is only the 1st time I've used them, but I'm definitely going to continue to use them until I see bad results.

I paid i think 3.99 a piece for them at a local cigar shop, probably cheaper to order in bulk online but only wanted to test a few for a couple of cures. I must say the results are great, takes a lot of monitoring out of it for me, as others have said as long as you give it a decent dry and its not dripping wet when you lock your buds up in a jar with a 62% packet, you should have no issues with mold and it really retains the flavor and scents imo.

They work great. Been using them for over 11 months. No problems and the bud stays at 62% after the first couple weeks.

I replace the packets at 5 months. Bud come out spongy and not crispy. If I leave the bud out of the jar 24-hours it hardens and crisps up.

I vape and like my bud with some moisture in them.

I would like to know, what you have against Boveda?

Because this sounds like sour grapes, and total Bull Shit...

If used correctly... proper sized packet to proper size jar...

You should be able to 'cure' the 'stored' MJ in a jar with a Boveda forever?

I'm using a Zip Lock Suction Sealer, leaving an Air pocket with the Boveda pack inside...

Gonna try to keep a Zip for a Year...

Ten pack for around $10.00....at Amazon lots of places... got them in 6 days through general mail...
The small size is good for an ounce..

Could be an issue if you use more or less that listed...
I think I read don't use two in one jar either...

This is interesting. Where did you read this? I use use 2 to 3 packs in 1/2 gal. jars. 1/2 gal. jars hold 3 to 4 oz. I've read on the Boveda website their suggested amount of packs to use per oz. there was nothing that I found saying using more than one per jar is not recommended.
