In Oregon we spent $200 million just to NOT get a website running, now people are saying just wait, just wait. What happens when they try to actually implement healthcare and not just Enrollment, lol?

130,000 on Medicaid, 30,000 private insurance. Oregon might be worse than fucking Chicago. The politico's herem have an admitted child rapist as their mentor, good times!

I am wearing my insurance company out. They should be hating me by this point. I have been going to the doctor like I OWN that bitch.
I have paid two months premiums (January and February) costing me 800 bucks and the insurance company has already paid close to 3 grand and I have surgery set up for Feb 6th. Knocking it OUT.

Hell no I wouldn't have. That is my point. I am killing it. I haven't had insurance since my parent's policy 20 something years ago.
I am a diabetic and do not work in a field that provides healthcare. The insurance companies that actually would accept me charged unaffordable prices and then didn't even want to cover diabetes related issues since it was pre-existing. Most insurance companies just simply denied coverage.
I have had to go with minimal treatment for 20 years as a diabetic. Twice a year doctor visits paid for in cash.
I have no idea if this insurance is going to last, that is why I jumped right on it and now I am getting as much taken care of as I can before something happens and I lose it.

If i were you, I'd make all the appointments you can, just like you're doing.
There is no question that the insurance companies cannot sustain this.
Good luck bro

this is a PERFECT example..someone not having healthcare for 20 years and NOT getting the correct care/preventative care because with insurance companies it's all about the almighty dollar and profits NOW they are limited to ONLY 20% profit off each patient..boo fucking hoo..

Well, I don't buy yours or any other lefties garbage that Fox News isn't reliable news meme.
I've asked you multiple times to post a couple of your news sources and you ran away from the challenge, you worried?

Be that as it may, it was HHS that made the statement, not Fox news.
Fox news is not a reliable news source.

London, you're opinion isn't worth two pennies to me.
I could post up hundreds of citations of different news sources when they get it wrong.
Why don't you give me a couple of your news sources.

I really sympathize with your position, my dad was in the same boat. He was diabetic and self-employed. That means no insurance, unless you pay for it your self. His insurance cost between 1200 and 1500 dollars per month, and they didn't really cover much. He would have been better off with a health savings account.

Luckily he has been accident free and has enjoyed good health.

Now he is on Medicare, but damn, he sure could of used the aca years ago.

I must admit, I have flip flopped on Obamacare.

I was 100% opposed for a long time. I now think it's a fairly good thing, but I don't have much hope that it will work out like it is supposed to. From a personal standpoint, I've had three occasions to use it, and all three times they practitioner did not accept it. So who knows if it's worth a shit, but it's new, so I'm going to give it more time.

I still don't like how it was passed.

is your practioner on the provider list when you signed up?..did you check?

EDIT: this would be considered out-of-network if they are not on a list..they can still file for you as a courtesy..they would get paid something and you would pick up the balance due.

While the administration publicly expresses full confidence in its health care law, privately it fears one part of the system is so flawed it could bankrupt insurance companies and cripple ObamaCare itself. To justify a no-bid contract with Accenture after firing CGI as the lead contractor, the administration released documents from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services that offered a rare glimpse of its worst fears, saying the problems with the website puts "the entire health insurance industry at risk" ... "potentially leading to their default and disrupting continued services and coverage to consumers." Then it went even further, saying if the problems were not fixed by mid-March, "they will result in financial harm to the government." It even added that without the fixes "the entire health care reform program is jeopardized." I honestly don't see how Obamacare will survive another year. The employer mandate will kick in this fall and millions of previously insured Americans will have no choice but purchase government regulated health insurance or pass on insurance altogether, only to face a fine. Then, shit will be hitting the fan in masses, right before the mid term elections.
That's why they keep trying to delay various parts of the law. Illegally, I might add. They know full implementation will doom them in the next election.

And we all know what they say about opinions, don't we.
I didn't think you'd have the cajones to post your new sources, you're the quintessential leftie.

You confuse me? First you say my opinion does not matter to you... then you ask for my opinion. WTF
