Excellent shot! At least you know that this is a beneficial mold
that is breeding on your molasses.
I grow vegetables in old mushroom blocks. They work together.

Thanks FM, the Cougar is benefitting from a nice long veg. She will be primed for flower in another week or two once there is vacancyEverything is stellar bro! Nice work going on there! The Cougar looks nice and happy, hope you enjoy her!
I want to know how to make them capsules do you have a link or tutorial? Also is it the same high like eating an edible? Edibles really get me twisted compared to smoking flowers or concentrates.
Peace
FM
Thanks JD! I thought it was pretty cool too. Do you mean you grow in mushroom compost?Excellent shot! At least you know that this is a beneficial mold

Thanks for sharing, that is PIMP!!! Do they hit you like edibles? I know when I eat edibles its a completely different high then smoking.OK, I'm going to journal my process for making hash capsules. I pretty much do everything just as Badkittysmiles does, but I will add a few notes. This can be done a lot of different ways that all work, but this way does seem to be about perfect for me. Lets get started. I will post pics first and then I will copy and paste the instructions in a bit when I can get to my typed notes.
Enjoy!

While I do also use broken up mushroom blocks, and spoiled/failedThanks JD! I thought it was pretty cool too. Do you mean you grow in mushroom compost?
That's awesome dude. You know you have good shit in the soil when you have mushrooms growing IMO. I get some local compost around here that grows bunches of lil fellaz. Thanks for that info JD, my yard is really sandy soil so I'm looking to add some moisture retention this spring. Last year was our first go at a garden, not bad for our first year but still disappointing because I didn't prepare the soil as well as I should have. While I do also use broken up mushroom blocks, and spoiled/failed
spawn grains, in my compost piles when I am soil making, what I was
referring to above was something a little different.
I took about 20 old blocks that I was was ready to give up on and I tiled
them on the ground in a rectangle between two long 4X4's. Then I piled
about 4" of soil on top of them and planted vegetables into this soil.
My intention was to use the blocks as a moisture reserve with the hope
that the fungi would both help the plants and to possibly fruit too.
This is actually similar to a technique that I have since seen, one developed
in Germany, that uses green logs to make larger scale berms on which
plants are grown. It is advertized as never needing watering because of
the water reservoir that the logs provide.
I found it again. It is called Hugelkultur.
The veggies all rocked, and I saw some Pioppinos and even one large Maitake.
Onward and upward,
JD
P.S. Here is a Portobello (A bisporus) fruiting from an Avocado in a pot:

I did not find the Maitake...that one looks really cool.
What's up Twistedentities? Thanks for finding your way here. Some pages are better than others lol, but thank you for the compliments! Glad to have some new company here. I update when I can!High Swag! Just dropped by to check out your thread. Great read! Beautiful ladies throughout the pages. I'm subbed!
I just smoked some SWOG. I love it. Nice flavor! So I thought I'd throw some feedback on the capsules. I took one on Saturday after a long day of snowmobiling to get some good rest. Holy sheeeeit, one pill knocked my dick in the dirt lol. A little strong for me even at the estimated .25-ish gram per capsule dosage lol.
They're great for just getting blazed right out though I guess lol. I will cut back a bit and aim for .15-.20 next run.
Chopping Vortex and Skywalker today. Will post pics soon.
I smoke a lot of weed but for some odd reason edibles really get me F'd up!I just smoked some SWOG. I love it. Nice flavor!
LOL at the story. I have heard that edibles can be strong, and different, in effect.
Thanks for sharing.

Interesting that the Vortex don't smell. In search of low odor strains for stealth reasons. May have to try that one. How long do you veg for typically, whats your container size for flowering and how tall on average do your plants get?Haha thanks guys you're too kind. I don't think I've ever seen a plant like that Alaskan Ice. I don't know how you would like the vortex just yet JD, I'm hoping she'll have some flavor but I'm not kidding about her odor. I couldn't smell jack.
I recommend checking it out. A lot of strains will stank up my whole place on harvest day, even when they're chopped inside the room. This girl didn't stank it up one bit.Interesting that the Vortex don't smell. In search of low odor strains for stealth reasons. May have to try that one.
