Looks like I'll be ordering some plain kosher usp pg and some different pg flavors from mr-e-liquid....the website lets you create your own mix so i plan on doing 0 nicotine and 0 vg... and the flavors are for stealth purposes only... i will gladly report back after i try it out... I'm a noob with vapes and liquids but i feel like i have a good understanding on how to start and you can only really learn by getting your feet wet... Thanks for the quick reply

Any kind of variable voltage battery pen will suffice. After you have your hash/pg tincture just pick your clearomizer of choice that fits your battery, not much too it. It's typically recommended that you get a clearomizer that is rebuildable, meaning for a couple dollars you can replace the main components as hash tinctures tend to be harsh on the hardware.

Hmm.. I've never had a burnt taste.. quite the opposite. It has a hashy flavor still, but vape like, fresh, not combusted.

I buy little tanks with a wick for $6.. when it is empty..dump a little PG in and hit it until it is gone.. Then replace.

My buddy is on his 5th or 6th refill with a cheap tip and it tastes much more harsh than mine.

I agree, then Dragon311 showed me the iClear 30b. No more need to add drops of PG USP at the end of a tank. You literally get to vape every drop and every hit is virtually flawless. No need for waiting in between hits. The iClear 30b is by far the best I have used. There is only one trick to it. You have to keep your unit sideways and lay it down flat on the table when you are done. This will eliminate oil dripping to the battery. As it gets closer to being empty, that is when I stand it up straight when I take a hit. Also, I notice that for some reason the coil lasts at least twice as long as other coils I have used. I have ran 4 or 5 grams of oil through it so far without any problems. When it is time to replace the coil, I will take it apart so I can actually see the coils. On the iClear 30b, you can't see the coils, it is a bottom fed dual coil unit. The coils are criss crossed, the way I prefer them. The iClear 30b is perfect for a SVD vaporizer. The main reason is the design of the SVD is fatter at the bottom and narrower at the top to where when laying it down it prevents any oil leakage to the battery when stored. If you use it the way I mention, you shouldn't get any leakage to the battery, when using the iClear 30b. It is always wise to check.


The iClear 30b in the pictures has has a 2.1 ohm heating elements and is filled with winterized RSO. QWISO works just as well. QWISO and RSO are different kind of like comparing indica to sativa when it comes to the buzz effects.

These heating elements cost about $3 each, but they last twice as long as a top fed if not longer. The wicks are short little stumps being that it is bottom fed.

Question here for anyone with experience vaping this type of product through an ecigarette. I have the Iclear 16 clearomizers in the 2.0 ohm version. These clearomizers come in both 1.5ohm and 2.0 ohm and I was told you need a clearomizer that burns hot in order to activate the THC in the liquid. Question is would a 2.0 work or would I need to switch to a 1.5ohm. Or are both crap and I need to go to a pyrex glass clearomizer?

I can't comment on the 1.5 ohm. I haven't tried that in my preferred units. As for the 2.0 or 2.1 ohm, it works great. Whether the oil is decarbed or not, it works real well.
As for switching clearomizers, I like the iClear 16 only for stealth reasons and portability, especially in public. I think people would look at me weird if I were using my SVD on the street!!
So, you have the iClear 16 clearomizers, what battery are you using? I only recommend the eGo C Twist variable voltage batteries for the iClear 16. Preferably the 650mAh model, when it comes to a pen battery.

Tried this and was not to successful think it was due to the fact my liquid originally had 30% vg. I added 1 g of bho to but it did not mix well. Has a lighter blondish hue rather then dark. Any help ? Love to vape on the go so really trying to make this work. Will buying 100% pg usp solve this issue?

I've had 100% success using only USP grade PG to make my thc-juice. Remember to use some indirect heat to help mix the two up thoroughly.

My BEST juice is light blonde hue.. what was the problem? not potent enough for you?

When I did a VG/PG 20/80. i had to do the double boil (heat) process for about 90 mins before they really mixed.

With a 100% PG, 10 mins..

I like both.. I do 100% PG most of the time just because I am lazy.

Well, how much Pg and VG did you use? The ratio (1ml = 1g) seems to be on average 2 to 1... That would be 2 ml of PG/VG and 1 gram of hash. My recent batch was 30ml PG to 12.5g HO.. it was a blonde hue (in the pen) and plenty potent. In a larger vile it is a darker color. Thin it out loading it into a tank and it is blonde and beautful

What was your ratio? With 1g of hash I would do no more than 3ml of PG/VG.

Also, I have found that some people just don't find it effective. They say it is "weak".
For me, it is not at all weak. Very good stuff.

The quality of this juice is all about the quality of your hash. Good hash = good juice. Shitty hash = shitty juice.
I find that genetics play a large part in hash quality.. Some plants don't produce the greatest hash, some do. Then, you gotta make it right too to really nail a good batch of hash/juice.

25 mins should be plenty.

So the question(s) is.. what was your ratio? Did you do anything differently than the PropJoe recipe (first post)?

Yeah man. I would save the juice until you can pickup another 2 grams of HO. .Then,just heat the solution,toss in the 2 g's and complete the batch.

Don't let thoughts of "I'm losing my hash" creep in your head when making the juice. The juice is easily 2-3x as efficient method to use your hash stash. What would normally last me a week (smoking) is lasting me 2 or 3 weeks (vape juice).. easy.

The first post says roughly 4 to 1.. I wish I could edit that to 2.5/1.. 4 to 1 would be good enough for me, but 6 to 1 is really pushing it. I would need probably 15 hits to get med.. maybe 20+.

Def going to try that then I have the bottle saved. Will prob give it another go in a week or two. Throw in 2gs and see where it takes me. Any idea where I can buy pure pg? I had to go to a smoke shop to buy the pg/vg mix it was just a non nicotine flavorless brand.

Tractor Supply.. or, a farm and feed store.
I got a gallon for $22..

google : tractor supply propylene glycol USP: and you will see what they carry. I walked in and they had it on the shelf.
It is used to mix animal meds/food. You might have to get out of the city to find it. Here, nearest tractor supply is about 40 mins outside the city.

VG can be had at Whole Foods, in the cosmetics. It is sold as an all natural skin moisturizer.

I haven't really seen benefits from adding VG. If you DO use VG.. increase the heating time to as long as it needs.. It took me about 90mins when using a 70/30 PG/VG mix. With 100/0, 10 mins. Although, I'm using a low heat..
