Not sure how I've never been over here to your thread bud, but I finally found it :). I havn't read through....figured I'd pick up here and continue on. That somango looks Super frosty! Have you posted any of your mushroom projects in here? I've got a Lemong Thai Kush I put into flower about 2 weeks ago, it was kinda young going in so it just showed sex, and is a nice little girl!

Hey TC,

I am just restarting my mushroom work, and will likely post more authoritatively
first on The Shroomery and second on myco-tek.org.

I will share photos here and will happily answer questions, so no worries.

My Lemon Thai Kush finished Week 7 tomorrow, but it does not look anywhere
near finishing. Not to worry, as going perpetual should allow me to let it take
as long as it needs.

I will be getting some better photos of it as it matures.

It looks like the finishing order for the older plants in the tent is GSC and Somango,
then, not too much longer the Blue Dream....much later the last two, Chemdog and
Lemon Thai Kush will finish....I cannot which is the faster of these two at this
point. Neither have anything but white anthers.

I am hitting all plants as they go into the tent with Fertilome Triple Action Plus III.
Actually I just hit the Veg area with that, and so it will likely to spinosad this time.

Onward and upward,

JD

I'd like to get to try some blue dream some day. Who's chemdog are you running? I've got a Dinachem going I hope its a decent representation of the real deal(not that I'll know, lol). I cloned my Lemon Thai as soon as I saw sex which will surely stunt the flowering plant, but atleast I'll have a clone if it turns out sweet.

Stunt....slow maybe. That is all I usually see. Stress just slows the clock somewhat.

I am sure that it is different for autos.

My Chemdog is from Greenhouse. My first and only GHS pack. I think that White Rhino
looks interesting too though.

I like to have so many things going that I can deal with the patience required
to get pre-flowers. I have yet to flower a plant without knowing what the
sex is already. Now, I have lost clones due to my own stupidity, and had to
try to re-veg clones. I have lost good breeds, but am getting better. I would
get Qrazy Train again.

Take care.

I did it for the purpose of sexing it, and had planned on just pulling it back out of flower, but decided to just leave it and clone it. The clone is already rooted so it should be all good, its only got a few pistils. I've been trying to gradually work the various new strains I've got into my flower tray. Last time I ran a whole batch of new strains at once, and it resulted in a light harvest because they weren't huge. I put em in pretty small so they didn't over take everything since I wasn't sure how they'd grow.

Here is a shot of the Clone Table:
VegArea3-Legend.jpg

1. Dinafem Dinachem (this is the sprout that got whacked...popped the same day as #2!)
2. BB Engineer's Dream
3. TGA Jack The Ripper
4. BB Smelly Cherry
5. TGA Jack's Cleaner 2
6. Soma's NYC Diesel
7. BB Deep Psychosis
8. BB Blue Pit
9. BB Psycho Killer
10. BB Engineer's Dream X Deep Blue (the 10 is over the tape label on the pot)
11. HSO Trainwreck #2
12. DNA Martian Kush
13. GHS Super Lemon Haze (these last two were chopped at the knees and cloned)

Have a great day!

Are you getting any of the one or two blade leaves? They are funny.

I have managed to get decent weight from the genetic chaos in my tent,
but have to admit that my SOG likely was my best yield so far, and that
was mainly one breed.

Take care,

nice java u got 3 there that i was wondering about jack the ripper, soma nycity diesel, and bb bluepit, but looking great man do u have a certain height u hit in veg before u start flowering, i put mine in flower at 36inches cause 5 foot and im in the lights and have to train them down and around but some of the ones i got now will be maxed out at 36inch, cant wait to see how they yield

I get the single blade leaves every so often JD, but havn't yet from the LTK or dinachem that I remember. On my one Cindy I tried to reveg(the one I ended up pollenating) it only produced single blade leaves on the reveg. It also didn't want to reveg very well in a small container. I think if I had put it into a large container it might have done better. I finally decided to use it for my pollen chucking project cus it was a really nice pheno to start with. Now we'll have to see if the male had anything worth bringing to the table later this year.

do u have a certain height u hit in veg before u start flowering,
BW this is just the problem that I am continually dealing with, though I do
seem to be getting better at it.

I have been really enjoying getting to know a slew of breeds, and am saving
aside the best as I find them.

...but dealing with the various stretches has been an issue.

Every time I start a new breed I have to look up its stretch. Without good data,
I have to check it's Sativa/Indica background.

A good example is above, check out the Veg Closet. The Ace Of Spades and the
Bubba Kush are the largest, and might seem to be the best pick to go into the
tent next.

But Bubba Kush, I found in researching it, is notorious for not stretching much
at all. I will benefit from letting it grow out more. LOL, I chopped it once before
I looked it up.

So, it looks to be the Trainwreck #1 and the Ace Of Spade that will go into the
tent when the GSC and Somango come out.

This will likely happen later this next week. But they are ripe, so I might snatch them. :0)

I run into the same issue all the time man. I have found that as I put new stuff in the middle of my tray I move the older/taller plants outwards, and creating a taller circle around the center. I've got my light set at a point to allow the taller strains to fit correctly just under it. So the tops of the tall plants at the edges of the trays are usually only a few inchs away from the glass by that point. Its not perfect, but it also allows me to get a cola move outside the edge if it does get TO tall. I had one finish like that a couple months ago, the top 6 inchs of cola pretty much never saw direct HID light because it had grown above the reflector. I tell ya what, it was still very solid bud, and great smoke, the rest of the plant did a great job of feeding that top cola, as well as producing on the rest of the plant.

yup it happens to me all the time sour tangie and stackedkush r super stretchers like 3x i should have top or fimmed them but i didnt want to slow them down this is going to be my first grow with a turn around of 60days but after this grow im going to take time and clean all my stuff with bleach and do all hydro no more soil for me i know the taste and aroma r better in soil but yield ant that great my soil plants take for ever to grow and the stems dont get that big, if u veg for 4 months they get big but im a inpateient mother fucker, when my flood table is dialed in i can veg for 3 weeks and already be at my 3-4 foot mark and ready to flower, ive seen 3inches of growth in one day, hydro is like jamming the food done its throat hahaha

If your 1 environment/2 strain/3 grower/4 ferts are dialed in,I see no reason for not to get hydro results in soil.

Chemical ferts and soil are not optimal IMO. Run 100% organic ferts/amendments with organic soil and watch out!;-) the plant takes what it needs when it needs it, ph is a non issue with a good soil food Web.

Remember environment is the^^ biggest factor in growth and yield.

Check out the organic section here and follow some of those Los/rols threads......good luck

Great stuff.

You will rock BW, whatever route you take.

I am cooking soils for the outdoor plants in the Vegetable garden,
while I experiment with passive hydro AKA hempys. :0)

i did the roots soil but i didnt add like say worm castings, bat gunaos, micros, and all that other shit kinda like sub supersoil and u let it cook to get all them micros going right yeah i havent went that far with soil, and feeding with teas, i like that u can move pots, i will give it a try but i think it will not compare to the growth of my floodtable i use 1 and a half gallon pots, i plant my seedling directly into 4x4rockwool cube under a 1000watt mh and 4 days above ground i am feeding at a low ppm, a week after that im feeding the hell out of them at 7 times a day 24-0 light and im not shitting u at 2 weeks there at 28inches with a thick ass stem and mad foilage

I certainly benefit from being able to take the ladies out of the tent.

This is only because I cram the tent. :0) If I did a 2 X 2 of four plants,
then I might be able to get around them.

But I will not worry about bigger containers until I am in a white room,
and not a tent. Real access must be so cool.

access aye? I have the same issue man as you can see!

hobbes had it down here.. 360degree access, doors all around
a handicapped person could take care of those!

Very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

P.S. I did note the rig he had that gave him a "moveable floor". Very cool.
