Quick question for you about my grow.

I have tried and failed to get any money for potting soil. Looks like this grow is au naturale. Nothing but sunshine, dirt, and water.

Anyways, Instead of planting my germinated seeds directly in the ground, will it be fine if I use some leftover potting soil I found and start the sprouts out in small cups for a week or two? Then when the seedlings are ready, I will go to my spot and dig a hole the same size as the cup, and then just take the seedling (still in the potting soil from the cup) and place the whole mass into the hole and fill everything in.

Will this work fine? Any chance of shocking the plant?

Thanks
i placed mine in 16 oz cups and let the roots reach the outside of the cup (about 2 weeks) and then place in ur hole ... mine LOVED getting out of the cups .. im sure urs will too

no, it has been thunderstorming here too for the past couple days. I got a day of sun today and they are looking beautiful. so you should be straight. Just as long as they dont look to damaged they will sprout right back to life.

yeah i starting trapping coons for a buddy to train his dog with .. so it gives me more reasons to go up to the woods and i might go fishing tomorrow! i'm gonna feed them some big bloom and grow big early next week with some molasses (any thoughts if animals will try to find the molasses by digging?) thanks
