so it has silver leaf i believe, and in pic 3 they got really fat right where it comes out.. and the end is turning yellowish.. my tomoato bush in the last pic haha.

Ahh i dont really know much about tomatoes but i guess you could give it more nitrogen and that fixs the problem? I belive ive never really had a problem like that.

That almost looks like powdery mildew.
Did the plant have enough water in the last few weeks?
The yellow ends look like the plant went through a drought.

interesting how the markings are kinda symetrical. i kinda don't think it's insect damage because of that. that's about all i can offer.

it has been sunny everyday for the last two weeks and will be for the next two weeks atleast. how often should i water this baby, and the pepper on the side in pic 3 haha my chilli pepper going to be putting them on nachos and stuff. had a small zucchini on the bbq with dinner today,was great haha.

top watering is the culprit. top watering squash like zucchini, pumpkins, and the like will cause powdery mildew in no time.
you can do drip lines to avoid this next year. this year, i have been employing a 10 foot long pvc pipe to funnel water to the base of my plants to try to avoid this.

WOW, I agree with Bucky. That only happens once in a blue moon.
You could take a 2 liter soda bottle and put a very small hole in the bottom and let the water drain each day until a good rainfall.
Use soda feeders on all your garden plants.
I never tried this method but you get the idea. Not sure flipping the bottle would work outdoors.

A squash plant as big as a VW beatle.
When we dont have rain for 3-5 days I water the base of the plant only in the early evening with a garden hose.

update on zucchini...i found powdery mildew this afternoon. still doesn't have the variegated like markings you have op. we had a good deal of rain here this weekend, thus the the mildew. i wanna add too, i really liked the ornamental value it possesses and may use it in a mixed perennial border some day. big leaves are a huge plus. stood up to drought well. full sun. wasn't bothered by voles, beetles or anything i didn't see. it's a hardy thing and i'll defenitly plant it again. plus rep zucchini.

lol, i always love how big some of my zuch leaves get.. i always have to remember in the spring just how much room they need or i can end up planting them too closely..

i was a zucchini virgin till this year racer. they certainly do need a lot of space. and those huge fruits. they grew overnight it seems. i've just gotten all the ingredients i need to make some zucchini bread. seems ez enough. recipe compliments of foodnetwork.com...mom used to make it all the time. great with lots of butter and a hot cup of anything.

damn, i've been growing them for around 10 years or so now, i effin love them.. and yah, zuchini bread is the bomb.. try it with a few chocolate chips in the bread if you're a fan of them, it absolutely makes the bread imo..
fried zuchs are great too...
and yah, when they get going they grow quick as hell.. one day i'll go out and look at the plants and won't see any fruits, the next day it seems i'll check and pick up a leaf and find a huge zuchini under there.. cracks me up every time...

so the yellow ends feel a bit squishy on the zucchini.. im not sure what to do should i hold off on the water for a few days? sprinkle some tomato fertilizer on them and water it in a few days to soak it in n add nitrogen? these are so good on the bbq in oil with salt and pepper hah i want to make them back to normal

yah, it sounds like they got too much water imo... the squishy part is the beginning of rot.. i would just pick it now and cut off the rotting part and eat the rest.. i find zuchs are the best before they get too big as when they do they tend to get very seedy and the taste changes a bit again imo..
i like them about 10 inches or so long and before they get super fat as that's usually when they get chuck full of seeds..
zuchs and even cucumbers are fairly picky when it comes to water as they need plenty to grow, but if they get too much, they tend to not do as well... cucumbers seem like they're about 90% water or so...
also, it seems that zuch's will do great for a period of time, then one day you turn around and they are done, kaput, and they're not putting out another fruit to save your life.. just an fyi..
