Zeitgeist (help·info) is a concept from eighteenth- to nineteenth-century German philosophy, meaning "spirit of the age" or "spirit of the times". It refers to an invisible agent or force dominating the characteristics of a given epoch in world history.

A place to speak and post about overlapping current events in the on going fiasco, disaster and tragedy of the Trump Presidency. The American experience of the looming pandemic is a good example of something that has serious public health implications exacerbated by an inept response and crippled preparation. It also has political and financial consequences and Trump is trying to manipulate the situation thereby endangering citizens and the country. A lethal combination of ignorance, malicious intent and gross incompetence.

There is gonna be competition for those supplies, possibly speculation. There is a S Korean manufacturer who is making 150K reliable test kits a day, I wonder if anyone got off their ass and tried to buy any?
 
Trump & his incompetence as a leader has shown time & time again that he is a fool, but this time Americans are going to die as a result.
His fucking BS is going to finally going to catch up with him this time I think.
Between him & Limbaugh (please die soon, like tomorrow) saying there's no real problem here, it's just like the common cold, it is an outrage.

My wife had to go to a clinic yesterday for a cough & usually there are face masks available for patients that have coughs so they can stop the spread of germs.
They were out of them & apparently they are in short supply already in fucking Connecticut.
This does not look good.
Two months the US had time to prepare for this pandemic & what did Trump do?
