I’d say don’t waste your time with the Arjans strawberry HAY.
I ran that years ago when I was into greenhouse. Needless to say after growing that one I was far less into greenhouse. Total dud strain imho.

No worries. I wouldn’t even use them for a Guerilla grow. They were seriously shit. Just eat ‘em and forget about em. You have heaps better stuff in your list.

Arjan does produce some decent stuff it’s just that strain is NOT one of them.

Maybe get the Arjans haze No.3 for your guerilla plot.
That one knocked out some nice enough chunky plants with a trippy caffeine (insomnia) high and similar finish time to the crappy strawberry hay.

Can you comment on smell and resin production or something that stood out? Could definitely smell and taste the pineapple. Grow room smelled like a produce stand.

What was impressive for peeps about the DTC99? Trippy? Roller coaster? Speedy? None of the above but Im no good at describing it. I'll ask my friends for their impression though. Its not a creeper though. It comes on fast. A really nice buzz that don't make you sleepy. Lots of laughter around friends and funny shows on tv. I'll grow it again for sure just hope I get another pheno like that one.

Depends when from the first version was tasty not super potent ime then again maybe i got lucky

I find this always the case you do get some potent purples sure but vs the green pheno same strain the green always wins due to better photosynthetic rates i think so it explains why its always more potent imo

I just ordered some seedstockers fruit cake fems to add to the insane amount of seeds i already got thats animal cookies x alien genetics fruity pebbles og they say most phenos are animal cookies dominant though thats ok though thats one of the few cookies crosses i rate i aint a big cookies fan tbh and it was like £2 a seed just now on discountcannabisseeds so aint like its crazy prices either

ive heard great things about frosted fruit cake (weeding cake x fpog) by Sacred Cut Seed Co. been wanting to get them

Too many seeds - You are truly Insane!

My latest was C99 so guess I’m a Princess. Lol.

I’ve come to the conclusion too many poly strains is insane. Too many seeds isn’t.

It’s like holding currency. I don’t want every different coin there is. Just lots of the six best coins.

Native Tree is this breeder's high-CBD strain. I grabbed a 6-er of Fuji's, which we already have, because they were on like a double-sale, usually $48 listed at 24, when i clicked on it, it dropped to 14 fitty :bigjoint:

A buddy of mine crossed HSC Blueberry Muffin male with the above Fuji female and resulted in what we call FAB MC:

Straight up blueberry-gasoline as it grew, but after it dried and cured it had a sort of blueberry-catpiss vibe, fcking AMAZING.

Nice to know about the green and purple pheno. Are they 50/50 or is one pheno more dominant?
So you mean purple look to the flower or the leaves?
Can you tell which pheno in veg or does it just show in flower?

Well i have seeds that are even older than me lol i aint big on alot of the modern gear some is ok some is meh when i say too many seeds i mean i dont think i could grow out what i have already that dont stop me wanting some more stuff though

Purple flower; not sure how often it appears; but ppl rave about it....I finally tried some this year (at a much higher price than the green pheno) and was highly disappointed because I found the green phenos to be superior in literally every way lol

Yeah it’s definitely a problem.
Always looking for the new new or the better version.
I’ve switched my game up in the last few years and am trying to not hold any seed older than 10 years with the ‘aim’ to have all my best strains no more than five years old.

So that means roughly having only 6 strains and one strain gets remade or improved every year.

You could grow out your hoarding if you change mindset like I did.
Start with your oldest beans and other strains that would pair well with those and run them all. Do solo cups and cull hard for only the best and strongest starters.

You can collect hard, but you got to run hard numbers and cull hard as well.
Those old packs and old seeds are luck of the draw.
I mean when I started poppin some of my old packs sometimes only one seed popped from a pack.

Thanks. Yeah that makes sense. I do remember reading that the new c99 xx showed purple tint to flowers.
So the purple pheno in the pineapple c99 is the pheno of the reversed c99.
The green pheno must be the representation of the pineapple mother c99.
I’d imagine the purple pheno is shorter and bushier and the green is taller and sativa based on that logic.

@HenryTheEighth I was looking at Fleur de Mal seeds site and found this which I found very similar to the Durban Thai X C99 that I grew recently. This is copy and pasted straight from FDMs site:

Anyway this sounds very much like what I grew but I couldn't say about the pre-2000 Cindy.
