Sure. I meant to say that people “chuck pollen” (which is fine) by combining existing strains, and then apply an often juvenile or silly sounding name (imo) that offers no indication of genetic origins. I also suspect at this point, many of those origins are lost or forgotten, which is too bad. I recall a time in the past where weed was often recognized for the region from which it came, potentially useful information. I’m all for people playing around with pollen in any way they please, and as an auto grower I am currently enjoying the product of careful genetic manipulation. I just find the names silly and uninformative much of the time. I’d rather a reference to a point of origin rather than a smell or other marketing device.

If you add up all the prices for what I paid for every single pack of seeds on that page.. it comes to.. including shipping...a staggering $3900.00 even. I have no idea what my entire collection cost me.. but it's easy just to add up the prices in that one photo.
I just did that calculation just now because I myself was curious how much money was spent on just the packs I showed in that one post. It's a little under $4K. So yeah... luck had nothing at all to do with any of that. Insanity on my part was much more involved than luck. I mean hell I only paid $3500 for the car I'm driving. My seed fridge is worth more than my car. lol
The cheapest pack of seeds in that post was free.. the Goji OG f2 pack was a gift.. the most expensive pack was the Lemon G x A11g and that was $512 won at auction. Then you've got the Spacebomb auction that was $250, the Dragonsblood x A11g was $240.. the two Duke Diamond packs together were $327.. Black Sunshine was $330 and there's quite a few $150 packs on there like the Field Trips and Sunshine crosses... What's funny is there are packs not even listed on there that I've also arranged to buy just in the last couple of days too. But the insanity must end. After this week I am officially done buying seeds. I went out and found what I was looking for and succeeded. I'm done lining the pockets of others and filling their coffers. I think my Seed Collection is pretty amazing at this point. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Someone who knows quite a bit about cannabis Genetics might notice there's over 20 maybe 30 packs on that list that have Starfighter in their lineage.. and now I've got 3 packs of actual Starfighter F2s on their way as well. I'm a guy who knows what I like.
None of my old seeds from prior years are on there. I have a lot of stuff from 12-15 years ago that's in a sealed jar packed with silica desiccant beads that I keep in the fridge. I might add that stuff at some point when I get time.
For anyone wondering.. I have a great job, work a lot of overtime, and pretty low living expenses. It's how I was able to pull this off. I don't wanna hear people telling me I'm nuts because I already know this. lol

I think Id be more likely to use either them or the Blueberry x A11g in an A11g IBL project.. all depends on how the A11g f4s I make come along. But who knows.. anything is possible. It'll be a Lil bit before I decide anything.
you might wanna check out copa genetics project 25 which is supposed to finish end of august. dc seed exchange, headie gardens or great lakes genetics. also i've crossed photoperiods to autos and they do incredible outdoors, are early, but are impossible to know which ones will finish at what times until grown. i would recommend a solid line like northern lights for your photoperiod. peace
