Very good points made here, makes sense. Seems alot of you are in basements...lucky! Who here is using ac to cool their rooms? What type of units are you running and how are they mounted?

They difference is the amount of airflow. Even growing outside with high temps paired with high humidity, problems can occur. Obviously you can run high temps inside too with proper care.
My flowering room.temp changes throughout the year.
Winter On /off
72-75/55-60(that would be the low after not running for almost 12 hours)
Summer on/off
80-85/70-75

If I added air conditioning i could control my temperature to approximately where I wanted it.

Do you see any growth issues with temps dropping into the 50s?

I’m seeing low 50s at lights out and haven’t noticed anything adverse effects. GDP stems and some under leaf is nice purple. Not sure if that has anything to do with temp or genetics or any other factors. But growth wise all is well.

I use geothermal. I have a second zone setup just to control my rooms.

Summer and winter temps are the same in my house as im not a cheap bastard and can afford to heat and cool my entire property, dont have to site my grow in a garage or shed due to bitching kids and wife so along with me it gets plesant temps indoors and why the funk would i run that hot when i can afford enough electricity for everone to be happy.

At 35°c air temps a reversal happens and plants gain heat not loose i believe, same starts happening for humans and we get heat exhaustion if we exert too much when cooling is inefficient due to air temps :-)

Not too.much of a difference between my winter and summer harvests. Some strains might show some colorful hues that I would not obtain in the summer. And I was just listing my average temp based off of last winter. Hitting 55f in my basement last year meant the temp outside was hovering around -20f. This winter is a different story where we have even been hitting the freezing mark. 0C or 32F.

I also get some crazy colouring in the winter months I don't see in the warmer temps.

Title says it all. Post up your flower room temps!
Basement tent: 73-75F lights on -- 64-66F lights off
Garage tent is: 67-69F lights on -- 56-58F lights off

I had my seedlings and cuttings trays in the garage and by early November growth had noticeably slowed. I found transplanting plants with 5 or 6 nodes took longer to recover too. Typically we see temps in the high 50s and low 40s in November. Meanwhile indicas seem to like the cold and are right on schedule in the garage tent, now in flower week six.

Basement tent now in veg is warmer but I see hybrids are are slower to recover from topping.
