your experience with Salvia?

Hi guys and dolls

Am off to a land where salvia is legal (?) and available and am wanting to give it a shot! What can you tell me (good and bad) about your experience with it? I've never had it before so am just researching what to expect. I will be in a different country and traveling alone. Was thinking of just hitting it one night and chilling in the motel room.

My experience's with Salvia where never the greatest, I smoked a bowl of it last night in effort to get spiritual visions everyone is talking about.

I took my 2 hits held it in for 30 seconds and..... NOTHING happened. I got light headed so i decided to pack my bowl with some green.

The first time i smoked salvia was the most lucid experience I have had on this substance. My mind couldn't really react fast enough to was was happening, Everything was flipped upside down.
Best way I can describe it: Cartoonish Reality.

The first time I did it I experienced what Karmapuff just stated as "cartoonish reality". My mate, who also tried it at the same time, went into a blinding rage and started grinding his teeth with anger.

I kept the packet of 5x salvia for 2 years before trying it again, then experienced what my mate had when he first tried it. I felt really frustrated and angry at everything for 5-10 minutes and then had fuzzy vision and an aching head for another hour.

Might've been the particular batch I got, or that it was only 5x, but I'm not going near it again.

Start slow. Take a pinch and hold it in. The feeling is nearly inexplicable. For me there is a measure of euphoria about it. But I'm unsure if that euphoria comes from being completely out of my mind, or from something else. Once you start to come down, I also find there's a certain aura of peace that stays around for a while. For me the afterglow can stick around for almost a day or so after.

Or you can pack as much in a bowl at once as you can and try to take it all at once and become completely turned off by the substance because it just made you crazy.

I had decided to get some after that recent media coverage of 'S'Miley Cyrus smoking salvia, something about a substance that can rile up so much emotion that just does it for me.

But alas, I hesitated and during my host of enforcement encounters, my packet was confiscated and not yet returned!

Salvia isn't really fun, it's just a totally mind blowing experiences..

Anything is possible in your mind with salvia lol

If you smoke too little, you start loosing control of your body... as in un controllable laughter, distorted perception, shift in gravity etc. (miley cyrus video)

If you smoke a little less than enough, the saliva world starts to effect the normal world..... totally altered perceptions of normal objects..

If you smoke enough for a brakethrough & CORRECTLY (high combustion temp/ 2 lungfulls of salvia smoke), you are nearly instantly accelerated into the salvia dimension upon exhale... Here you will find INTENSE feelings of Deja Vu, distorted perceptions of time, Very warm, welcoming beings who you converse with telepathically.. to give you insight if you are willing to listen.





Other than that info, you gotta find out yourself....

omg, dont get me started on salvia. I had some of the most crazy experiences on salvia back when I was in high school

I actually enjoyed Salvia quite a bit. I started with 15X and it was quite interesting. I ended up inside of a pop-up book. It was beyond bizzare. Just make sure your in a good mood, not stressed, and got some chill friends to watch you.

Yeah I know all about salvia, and it wasn't really seeing a society type using it but the reaction that was produced from a mild dose of a legal plant, I bet if she smoked cigarettes there wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue.

Anyway, I also recognize that the shamans that have been tooling with this specific plant for the better part of the last 5000 years only use it a few times in their lives and only for special purposes. I also understand there are very few variations of the species, and most of the plants found in nature seem to be clones, because according to wiki 'a seed has never been observed in the wild.' This plant has been specifically picked by these people and saved.

The other interesting aspects are that its primary active constituent, salvinorin A, has no nitrogen atoms, it is active at microgram levels(arguably lower than LSD), it can be smoked, and it acts on the kappa opoid receptor, which individually is not much to sneer at, but add them up and you have one interesting chemical to play with.

I remember I was with a good friend of mine and he just bought some 20x salvia from a head shop and he told me all about it. I first went to erowid to get some info and once I felt that I was ready he took me out to our dry riverbed here in town and I took a hit from his bubbler. As I held it in, I started to giggle, and they quickly got out of hand, I had to exhale and drop to the floor. (I handed the bubbler off before I fell down) While I was on the floor, everything that ever happened to me, that I;ve ever experienced, seen, felt, all formed these 7's. And inside of those 7's I can see everyone that I have ever known in there laughing with me. While this was happening I was crying with laughter. For whatever reason, it was really funny! Then suddenly I realized what I was doing and I remembered that we were in a semi public area so I get up stop laughing and turn to my friend and ask him, "How long was I down there for?" He was packing his hit and says, "Um, about 10 seconds." It felt like I was in that trip for at least an hour.

First nothing. Then I'm attached to the world by a zipper that starts at my left hand fingertips and travels up my arm, up my shoulder, up the side of my neck and to my 3rd eye.

I started to lose control of the experience. I didn't like this.

I've been past Jupiter to the beginning over creation, but I was always the pilot of the ship or at least the ship I was on had a great autopilot. There was no ship with salvia. It owned me. I tried to rip myself from where I was zipped to the world and when I unzipped it a entrance to a void opened and I fell in. This was not fun. Well..... have you ever rode "the zipper" at the fair. It was fun like that. Fucking horribly scary as shit fun.

Then I was. Was. Just as I am now. But was. There. In the presence of something wise. And female. I know that sounds so cliche of a salvia trip but that is whats so great/horrible about it. Such similar experiences between individuals.

Looking back I wished I could have remained more calm and fully experienced what salvia has to offer. But I fought it. I wanted to be in control again, no matter what dimension I wound up in.

I ended up fading in an out of "reality", I grew octopus like tentacles that i used to try and grasp the room all the while slamming into the walls of my then apartment.

I finally came to rest on my love seat and I proceeded to flatten flat as a pancake and fold in half and fall inside of my couch.... and just chill there for about the next 10-15 min.....

Never tried it again. Finished it off by letting friends take bong rips and watch them drool and freak out. i know that's mean.

With dmt you are transported away with the same fury as salvia but in a crisp perfect straight beam... Straight to paradise city... Salvia is like triangles and octagons.... With zippers and wormholes.....

Oh and while I was thrashing around the room after the octo arms everything became 2 dimensional but at the same time 3d like watching a 3d bluray or something.. Cartoonish looking... Animated "things" would pop out of the carpet like brightly colored nes mario bros. mushrooms.

I'v done it twice. The first time I just laughed a lot and everything was a little weird, but the second time was nuts. Everything seemed to go 2D and it was like a puzzle and I had to make everything fit; it was unreal, I was in a complete different place. It happens so fast you don't even relize its happening lol. But I would do it again because it's such a mind bogaling experience.

My first experience with salvia probally wasnt in the best setting---I will explain.

I had ordered some RC's from the net and along withg some Sally, i got mine from somewhere in the UK. now i chose to buy standadised extract one G @ 10x and one G @ 30x.
I arrived home after work and there was a package, i opened it and there it was, i was so excited that i decided to take a cone hit right there and then, standing in the laundry still in my work clothes and by myself, well i had a cone of the 10x and i was launched into a very sureal world of kalidiscope colours and odd shapes, just FYI this is nothing like lucy!! i was walking around thinking should i have some sally or not (not knowing that i just took some??) i was still holding the bong, thats what jerked my memory into remembering that i DID just have a cone, 5mins of weirdness and it was all over.

i wont ramble on but i did have 6 more trips over a 2 week period, these were all the same, well sort of.....untill i unwrapped the tube of 30x----farrk me, since then i have found a new respect for sally and have not had a cone...nothing bad happened, but i did get pulled hardcore from my inner conciousness to and from the world that was starting to open.....i wasnt ready and didnt respect it....it showed me the door then slammed it back in my face...i will knock again when im ready

I first tried salvia in like 9th grade after hearing about it from the news of all places. Running stories to warn parents but sending kids to their computers to look it up... Well I did see it on the internet first but the news really sparked my interest. Looking back on it I realize how little I knew about psychedelics at the time but hey you gotta start somewhere. Anyway I ordered some 10x unstandardized, but believe me it was good 10x... And an oz of leaf.

First try I just packed some leaved, felt nothing much but a little different. So I packed some more leaf and some 10x on top and hit that bong like their was no tomorrow. I fell back on the bed laughing and started rolling around a drooling. All I could see and feel was me flying at a million miles an hour over a grey utopian world full of little square houses. I live in a suburb and this is somewhat what it reminded me of. But grey and lifeless.

I had a nice afterglow for a while and no real interest to try it again, but I did in the privacy of my own home and it was terrible. I just felt hot and prickly and weird and I kinda freaked out.

3 years later. I'm at a friends place and everyones smokin weed and a friend busts out some 10x from the headshop she worked at, she got it for free. I try a hit and the familiar laughter starts but then everyone was like NOOO BE CAREFUL YOUR GONNA KNOCK SOMETHING OVER. At this point i wasnt having fun so i got up and walked around the tiny apartment. I think over the course of the next 10 minutes I tried to pee like 3 times and then just went and sat in the stairwell outside. It was horrible.

This next time I decided to order the cheapest 40x i could find at like 25.00 a gram. Well it wasnt 40x, based on my experiences I'd rate it at about 15-20x. This time was better. Me and my friend were chillin in his room, hanging out for the purpose of doing salvia, listening to dubstep. Well we did it about 3 times over the course of like 40 minutes. By the third time I hit it I was tripping pretty hard at the peak. I just closed my eyes and tried to relax... I became sound. I was transported to a world made of pulsating lines of energy. That energy was sound and I was that energy. And I was the dubstep beats we were listening too.


Anyway with the same salvia a friend popped in to try some cause he was picking up money and I offered some to him. This is his first psychedelic, first time with salvia. Needless to say he had a bad time and forgot he smoked it, and then mid trip he remembered. Another friend after a day of drinkin tried some and had a bad trip. Inanimate objects grew faces and talked to him and all he could think was this isnt right, this shouldnt be happening. He had a bad time


SALVIA IS WEIRD.

Salvia is damn hard to describe. I had read countless trip reports before ever trying the shit, and none of them prepared me for it. I have a lot of trouble remembering my trips, but the ones I do they haven't yet invented the words to describe it.

i tired the 80x extract of salvia divinorum i will never do it again worse experience in my life did't see anything just a feeling of straight horror worst thing i ever tried but lesson learned don't see what people see in it it must effect people differently

that is simply a side effect of useing strong extracts instead of waiting for tollerance to drop.
