I supported/voted Trump.

I've seen a dick measuring contest, keystone cops, unbelievable raid booty and uninformed WH that can't bowl. First blush on Miller isn't rosey. PM Turnbull is snubbed. Nieto's scratched 45 off the Xmas card list.

Country's in an uproar.

On the bright side, the Constitution and its checks and balances endures. I want that.
Above everything I want that.

I'm having my doubt's.

We THOUGHT he was the lesser of 2 evils, but has yet to perform in complete testament to that.
Just because Hitlery didn't win doesn't mean anyone should relax about anyone.

Politics likes to exclude those that don't dedicate to the priesthood early, but those that do break in are easily assimilated more often than not.

Would you also agree that Politics has a tendency to mute the good, too? That is, those who can withstand the corrupting forces, wind up becoming ineffective automatons; their efforts result in ephemeral policies, at best.
Drowned out by the buffoonery and circus that surrounds them, or coerced into toeing the party line, otherwise.

Cynically speaking-I don't think any withstand the corrupting forces no matter the motivation nor agenda.

It's lucky if it makes it's way to the side just stained and not consumed.

What personality type gravitates to "public service"?
I'm not seeing a multitude of public servants rather than self serving servants.

A lily floating on sewage can be swept up by the wind to a better position. But that implies influence of external forces...I can see two analogous situations; however, they are both inclined toward destruction, in one form or another, ultimately.

As for personality types, I think it would be better to ask what type is repulsed at the thought of "public service." Although, perhaps I am misinterpreting what you mean by "types"? Could you give me an example?

This reminds me of Nixon around this time in 1973. (Except Nixon won by a massive no doubt about it landslide.)

But they were starting to dig into Watergate by this time in '73, and 20 months later, Nixon resigned under pressure.

Trump has skeletons in his closet (and tax returns). And he relies on lies (alt facts) to buffalo his supporters who parrot them through the media.

He will ultimately be consumed by his own bull shit, and may beat Tricky Dicky's August date for removal next year.

The only reason you can't prove he's dirty right now is that he conceals the truth and his dirty business deals with foreign governments. I don't believe he'll be able to do that forever.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are future amendment(s) to the constitution based on what happens over the next couple years.

There's a goldmine of info in those tax returns. Why else would a narcissist hide his success?
