you harvest a plant four weeks early, and one bowl sends you to outerspace...

i was going to make hash of this stuff, it was all harvested waaaay early due to the power investigation... but, i just sampled it, in a fit of desperation, i ground some of this pale orange and white haired bud, and filled the bubble...

well, it took awhile to get this far, but i'm impressed! i've had only dirt for more than a month, that may have something to do with it, but i'm surprised at the potency from such immature plants. thank god i saved the mothers.

what strain you ask? well, that's a toughie; in my fit to clean the house, i harvested everything into one bag. so i have no idea what it is, only what it could be...

black dom
ak48
afghan
kush
hazey jack

your guess is as good as mine ;)

hmm, i'm narrowing it down... couchlock, getting...sleeeeepy...

hmmm, my gess is black dom. but i'll never know for sure. sadly, these mothers did not make it. they did not reveg, and i have ONE bean left... omg, i'm waiting for the perfect opportunity to grow this under totally ideal circumstances, for best chances at getting another mother.

bd description i read somewhere:

sit down, hit the bong, set bong down, exhale......

wake up four hours later wondering wtf happened

:p

I agree Kp. Although it is better if they grew from clones? I've noticed that plants will cover up in trichomes quicker when grown from clones.

A flowering plant (from seed) only just start getting trich's around the 4 week mark. Whereas clones will have them from day one.

Is that because the clone is technically more mature when starting flower?

flower time is also less, when you consider that most of the time bean plants are force flowered, and don't kick in to the flower process for at least a week, sometimes as much as four. clones begin as soon as 12/12 starts. they are mature, and as old as the original mother plant. ie, one of my moms is only 6 months old, but the plant is actually over 7 years of age. when a mom becomes to big for her six inch pot, i make a new one and flower the old.

I agree, although my past two grows from seed on two different strains I've had them show sex in veg, around the 6-7 week mark. So when they go into flower they are covered in pistils the next time I turn the lights on. I've put threads on this site dedicated to the importance of veg' time in relation to flowering but they seem to get very little attention.

I've been really excited about this as I only started growing August last year and everything I'd read suggested that this doesn't happen.

twice on the trot, with 2 different strains.

I also veg' beneath mh.
