Alright, 09' has had a bit of a rough start for me, due to poor weather conditions, losing my first 20 plants and my girl being a bar slut, but here I am trucking a long trying to salvage the rest of the grow season:blsmoke:

This is my first real grow, i have germed seeds b4 and let them grow for as long as a month under my 30watt CFLs; which is what I am using at the moment to make up for lost time... It seems to me that plants initially grow faster under lights so hopefully this theory is true and I can still have a decent yeid.

Well, as for my outdoor setup; this is a straight guerllia grow in a northern climate. My nights have just started to warm up over the pst two weeks. I lost 20 BCseed, indoor mix to frost, i'm really bummend I had a lot of nice strains Gr8 White Shark, Northern Lights, White Widow, and that BC Big Bud, but o'well.

Now I have 9 bagseed of the local $40-80, decent smoke, I just hope its not a sativa cause I don't have enough time to flower that.

My mix is some black dirt I picked up at a nursey, compost dirt from my pile, generic brand manure, perlite, bone meal and blood meal. I also have a 4x25 roll of chicken wire to cover my plants the early parts of growth because deer and rodants will be a problem. I also have some sand cause I think that helps with drainage, not sure though.

I had to hike all that shit like 3 miles in the woods too... who said growing was easy?:finger:

Well this is my grow, I would really like to get some pics up to show ya'll what I'm working with and get some feedback but I am a bit weary to post cuz the fuzzz is real hot in this town and I am a bit paranoid; hook me up with some feedback and encouragement and i'll keep posting, hopefully some picks too:bigjoint: Peace

It has been a long few weeks, but the temps outside are fantastic right now and I finally moved my plants outdoors after about 3 1/2 weeks under the CFL's.

What a rush carrying a dozen plants through the wilderness... I was pumped the entire time and as secluded as a spot it was I was still in like instinct mode, like listening for a stick to crack and watching out the corner of my eye lol. I feel bad cause I wanted to do it early in the morn. and my bro didn't get up cause he was all hungover... dude missed out =]

Thanks for all the support guys! When the plants start to look good i'll post pics so I don't embarrass myself...lol I love the great outdoors man... ---peace

Today was the first day day I checked my garden after I moved them outdoors, the sunlight is better than expected as I picked this spot out late Spring and was antcipating about 5hrs direct sunlight and now believe it is closer to 8! However, after three days of eight hour sunlight and temps nearing the 80's things started to get a little dry.. I have some yellowing on the tips of the leaves that I was a little worried about at first but i'll just have to make a bit of an effort these next few days to keep them watered.

Great new growth though I'm pretty stoked about that and that the deer haven't ravaged them yet; tommorrow the chicken wire will go up to ensure the saftey. ~~~Dude

It has been a while since I've last posted about my garden, things have been real busy as of lately, I haven't had to really check the garden in a while cause we have been getting lots of rain here(just about every other day.) I still haven't been able to sex my plants, maybe a few more weeks. The chicken wire I put up has worked very well repelling deer and other rodent's, but nature is not that easy to defeat as my chicken wire was no match for tiny little red ants! So I had to buy some Diatomaceous Earth from Eartworks to try and take care of the infestation. PLants are great though, the biggest is about 3ft-smallest 1 1/2ft. If anyone from northern parts of U.S(I.E 45th parallel) has sexed their plants outdoors yet lettme know.~~~~dude
