Yet another 2700k vs 6500k thread

Lets say i chose to use 50/50 on the spectrums(100w 2700k and 100w 6500k) for blooming, would there be a noticeable change in bud-weight compared to 100% 2700k bulbs(i.e 200w 2700k)?

And if so, how much weight would it be?

Personally I like to balance the spectrum slightly by using some 6400 light BUT in your case I'd go with the 2700's for flowering. Impossible to say re final weight, too many variables.

In my set up I have a total of 350watts of CFL's of which only 30watts are 'daylight' or 'blue' 6400's ......... but thats just my choice.

Well, you only got 30w of 6400k and thats nothing when you have 300w of 2700k.
In my case its 50/50, so if it really makes a huge difference ill go and get myself another highwatt cfl with warmwhite spectrum.

But numbers are the tasty part, assuming i get 50g of dried buds with my current dual spectrum setup, how much would i get if i go 2700k of the same wattage, assuming everything goes well....theoretically?

You might be surprised to see just how much that 30watts of 'blue' light in my little cabinet changes the overall 'tone', theres a noticable slight blue tint in the reflected light quality.

yeah-in my opinion it is good if you have more blue spectrum and some yellow 2700k,s specrtum 10-7 il go.

My experience is that I have had better yields with a mix of spectrum. Initially I had 4 of the 6500k and 4 of the 3000k and then switched to all 8 of the 3000k.

My earlier grows were better. I'm still growing the same strains, same nutrients, etc. I'm switching back to a mixed spectrum.
