And you get rep from me as well for telling it EXATLY like it is. You nailed it on the fucking head. The world is watching this vote, and a few ignorant posters think this is a Cali only issue, yet it is covered globally by the news. Californians are extremely lucky to have this chance to vote for private gardens and legal smoke, without lying to a doctor to obtain a card. Not everyone calls it medicine. Some people actually enjoy it recreationally. I know this just shocks most non-terminal "patients".
A NO vote on prop 19 is a YES vote on prohibition!

If I lived in Cali I'd vote yes. If you don't make your living selling I can't really see any reason to vote against. Anything to take power away from state police.

I understand some people are in tight situations and need to sell weed for money due to they cant work.
But to be honest there is always something else people can do to make a buck, disabled or not.
Im not trying to offend anyone but this is a whole lot bigger than just cali and u solo growers!!!

My feelings on this are that anybody with half a brain living in California can already get their medical card no problem. So if you live in California and are going to jail for weed you are probably a fucking idiot.
So what is the point of this again? Have you actually read the bill? There is actually a clause that says you cannot smoke in the presence of a minor. Or in your car. Or on public property. The fed government has also sworn to prosecute aggressively even if the law passes. So, my guess is most of the mom and pop dispensaries get shut down by the feds, meanwhile Philip morris and other corporate goons with the bank roll to get the feds to look the other way take over completely and the market is theirs.
But who knows? There are a million scenarios that could play out if it passes. However my feelings on the subject is that there is little to gain and a hell of a lot to lose, so why chance it? Tell your doctor you get headaches, get your medical card and hope that someday a REAL legalization bill comes down the pipe in the next few years.
