yellowing sugar leaves?

so i had to chop down my chemdog plant a few days earlier than i wanted to. it's been going on 10 weeks now, but still only a few amber trichs. besides finding the start of some bud rot was the main reason to chop it down, however the majority of little sugar leaves had turned yellow and a few even brown and dried and withered up. it's been a bitch to try and cut out those yellow/dead leaves from the bud, without macerating the buds. did that happen because i stopped nutes too early in the later stages of flowering perhaps? ugh

i know that bigger fan leaves will yellow and die as the plant uses up nutrients, but i guess my question is are there some strains that are more prone to naturally have the smaller sugar leaves yellow up on before harvest? or is this just solely due to underfeeding/stopping nutes too early?

No issues man trim as normal, get rid of the brown crunchy leaves, yellow leaves that are still supple just look bad because they have no green stuff in them, just trim and cure and enjoy. unless you really got bad mold then make some bubble hash out of it.

Sounds as if you had a serious nute issue-- the sugar leaves do not turn unless (A)over-nuted/burned or (B) Serious P-K deficiency

Were you following a feeding chart/schedule and for what nutes????

We want to get this 'fixed" so it don't happen again...
and remember- some strains use a LOT less nutes- others are pigs.. then the rest fall somewhere in-between... if this was the 1st grow of this strain for you-- write it down so you can monitor it next time you grow it! ;)
