Yellowing nute def during flower

hey everyone, im probably around a month in flower of my outdoor grow now and im seeing some yellowing of a decent amount of my bottom leaves, im just wondering is this fine? been slightly adding beastie bloomz and a slight tad dyna gro imto a 3 gal bucket and watering once a week or so with it

I get the same every year with my outdoor crop. By process of elimination, it looks like a Nitrogen nute deficiency. Someone once posted "Add more Nitrogen" but didn't say how. Maybe find a nute with a higher Nitrogen (first number on the label) while keeping the other two "numbers" the same as your current fertilizer

Had to go check- the other two numbers that show the fertilizer's chemical composition are P (for Phosphorus) and K (for Potassium). Nitrogen is vital during the vegetative stage; Potassium for the flowering stage. If you use one fertilizer in the growth stage and a different one in flowering, the amount of Nitrogen is lower in the flowering fert and yellowing of flowers is a result. If you get splotches in the yellow leavesr then you also might have a Phosphorus deficiency.

Not enough N. You need to stick with veg nute program UNTIL the stretching stops and actual bud development starts. All bloom products are low in N. NONE of the manufacturers take this into account. They are not giving you good advice when they suggest switching to bloom products the day you drop your lights to 12/12. Outside is no different your just not changing a timer. So you just need to wait until you see bud development start. They still might need a little more N than is provided in the bloom nutes. If this is the case supplement some bloom with some grow nutes.

theyre growing pretty nice nugs now but still white pistils.. i was thinking low n but i heard you shouldnt add more n when the buds are growing good so i may try to keep it off the n for rest of flowering but will this suffer yeild? or can it take a little n?

this year theyve been pretty healthy only a couple bottom leaves dying through the grow, it had a few doses of dyna gro foilage pro during veg before bloom which is a 9-3-6, and flower i gave like a capful into a 3gal once last week hoping to help do should i cut her of veg nutes for good?

You want to give it enough N to keep the leaves green and healthy PERIOD. No matter what cycle. Yellow leaves early in flower is not got for the end product. It's a fine line you don't want to over do it. Just enough is the key. Don't believe the BS you can't start using bloom products on day 1 of 12/12 AND keep the leaves green. I use grow nutes through the stretch and until bud formation starts. From that point on I start with bloom nutes BUT I'm still mixing in some grow nutes because at this point it's still to low in N. (This is when you use just enough to keep the leaves nice and green) If you flush you have more room to play because of the flushing. I don't flush but I do lower the PPM but I don't believe in starving a plant for the last 2 weeks. The last time I water it I do use RO water only but that's it and it gets harvested when the soil dries.

I use dyna gro products myself. Trust me there's not enough N in bloom. I'm adding some grow or foliage pro for most of the flowering period. Finally my plants have nice green leaves throughout flowering. Also using a capful per 3 gal isn't very scientific. Buy a graduated cylinder or use measuring spoons. Make sure you're using a QUALITY meter to check PPM & PH.
