background: 4 plants in a grow box, they're about in their 3rd week of veg, they started out in 16oz cups of MG but after a couple weeks were transplanted into fox farm's ocean forest. they've been getting about a cup of water (tap, distilled for ~6 days) each every 2-3 days. temp averages 84-86 F. lighting is 6 23W CFLs, mylar all around the box.
a few days ago i started seeing yellowing of the lower leaves. early on, some just seemed like these leaves weren't getting enough light, but recently it's gotten worse and that's definitely not the problem.
it looks like nitrogen def from what i've seen, but I really was not expecting anything like that given my soil (i read i don't have to touch ferts for 2-3 months). unfortunately, they don't seem to list an NPK for the soil; although, the ingredient look like it should have good nitrogen.... as far as i can tell at least ~~
the pictures here are of, what was, my best plant. she showed the signs first, and is the best example. although the others look like they're going to be doing the same soon.
PS: any idea what's with the stem on the last pic (1099)? that's not normal.. is it? I think they're all kind of like that - ever since their first baby leaves started dying off (which i believe was natural)
THANKS!
