yellowing leaves/brown spots PICS

hey everyone. i'm around 5 weeks into it and my plants have had minimal problems until now. my plants are in fox farm ocean forest mixed with perlite, humidity around 45% temperatures range from around 69-77 degrees, the PH of my runoff is between 6.0 and 6.4 i've got 8 daylight 23 watt cfls ranging from 2-4 inches above the plants and one 43 watt bright white bulb lowered down on the side to get some light underneath. I use ferts every other watering (which with these plants is about every 35-48 hours... they drink a lot lol). The lower leaves starting turning yellow and had a few brown spots. I think this might be a magnesium deficiency so i put two pinches of epsom salt in the water two days ago when watering. Is that what this is? and if so, will the chlorophyl come back to the leaves that are yellow?

it might be lacking a smal amount of nitrogen if your still vegging, also the leaves will not turn back do not prune them though unless udont want bud sites pruning is bad unless the leaf is more than 50% yellow, dude they actually look fine if i were u i wouldnt worry, everytime i grow i have some yellow leaves, people always freakout but thats what plants do turn yellow no biggie it wont die

oh i know it won't die, but it's obviously lacking something or something isn't right, and i want the plant as healthy as possible

it's not a lack, but an excess. that's the start of a phosphorous toxicity, common with fox farm nutrients. pot likes a one two three shot, low nitrogen, medium phos, and hi potassium.

slow down on that super bloom ;)

well i'm flushing the soil cause that's the safest thing to do and most likely will fix it. we'll see in a few days to a week if it fixes it. plus i'm testing the ph everytime to make sure. I started the 12/12 cycle today. here's to hoping they have big green vaginas. :)

It is either Nute Burn or it could be as simple as over-watering.

I would go buy a soil test kit at your local garden center. And check to see if your Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potash are somewhat stable.

If not, then I would bet it's probably overwatering.

Fish on....
