What lights are you using? They should be closer those stems are pretty long.

I think your plant might be suffering from nute loss maybe Nitrogen?
they started in a pot outside and got that tall so i repotted them thats why stem is so long i think. But i was think nitrogen myself but im new to this!!

With floro lighting you want to keep the bulbs real close like 3-4 inches from the tops to keep them from stretching. You also have small pots to begin with, but you only filled them halfway? Your soil looks more bark than anything. If you're on a budget, get some MG moisture control and read up on others experience with it and best way to use it. I hope you have a layer of perlite at the bottom of your pot, probably doesn't matter now, but you're root is probably spinning out at the bottom.

If it was me, I would pull them and fix you're set up. You will probably be wasting time trying to recover these. Again, if it was me, I would rip them up.

Edit: Just seen you planted a seed at the edge of one of the pots? Yeah, man, fix your stuff.

Not to be an asshole dude, but if you don't know what you're talking about don't give your two cents. A plant that small does not need more nutes while growing in MG soil. That plant has nute burn, and if the OP had listened to you and put in more N his little girls would be fucked. MG soil is hard on seedlings, and a difficult soil overall to grow in. However, I've seen a lot of pics of some nice looking bud that was grown entirely in MG soil. You just have to know precisely what you are doing. Do not add anymore nutes to that soil.

What lights are you using? As jcurry26 already mentioned, you will want them closer. Use your hand as a guide. Put your hand a few inches under the light. If it doesn't get overly hot on your hand, you can lower the lights. Once they are low enough to where they begin to burn your hand, raise them just enough so that it doesn't burn anymore. I'm guessing you're using CFLs since it's a PC grow though, and CFLs should be no further than 2 inches from your plants, unless they are the higher wattage ones. In which case, use the hand method.

Lastly, if that is foil in there, I recommend pulling it out. If you can afford it, buy some mylar and put it up. If you can't justify forking out the cash for an entire roll of mylar for such a small area, just pain the inside of the box with flat whtie paint. Either of those two things reflect light nearly twice as good as foil. Foil is designed to create heat, which it does very well. It isn't designed to reflect light.

Hope that info helps, and good luck. Keep us posted!

I can't have bigger pots in a pc grow. That plant is on the side of pot because another seeding was in there but died. I didnt want to repot until it gets a little bigger so it could handle the shock. This is my first grow so go easy on my set up haha. But thanks for the info. Hope you have more info soon. Thx

Fox Farm Ocean Forest is a pretty popular soil to start with. I started with Fox Farm Happy Frog, It's a good soil as well, although it's a littel "hot" as in a lot of nutrients already in the soil and could burn young plants and/or seedlings. And you definitely want to mix whatever soil with some perilite or another coarse substance to improve soil aeration and drainage. I'd say you are better off starting over also since your only 2 weeks in.... good luck man.

It's not that MG is bad soil, it's just that you don't know exactly how many nutes are being released with each watering. This is something you will need to control, especially just starting out. Personally I like Foxfarms soil, but there are many other brands which are just as good, or better. Stop in a hydroponics store and they will hook you up with the right soil. I recommend using soil that does not have any added nutes though. That way when you are ready to feed your plants you know exactly what they are getting, and how much they are getting.

These forums are loaded with information. I recommend that you make time to read through the posts. You will find numerous opinions on soil - the good, the bad, and the ugly. You'll learn the best methods to maximize your yeild from learning the mistakes that other people made. If nothing else, read the stickies throughout the threads. You're plants will thank you at harvest time :weed:

I'm going to reefer (haha) you to a great thread which should contain everything that you need to know in order to get started:

https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/1326-101-already-asked-questions.html

Note the advice on lighting link within the thread, also the link regarding what nutes to feed, and when to feed them.

Learn all you can, your plants will thank you for it at harvest time :weed:

Regardig the mylar, it isn't a necessity and I can't say that the yield vs price will pay for its use. Last I checked that stuff was close to $25 bucks a roll. If you do end up getting it, three is 1 mil and 2 mil mylar. If you plan on using the remainder of the roll on a larger grow room in the future, buy the 2 mil since it is thicker and will be harder to tear when you wipe it down to clean it. If you're content with your PC grow, and don't intend on growing more plants in a larger area, buy the 1 mil. The 1 mil (mil stands for millimeter btw, which is the thickness) is thinner which means it tears eaiser, but it is also nearly half the price of the 2 mil.

Good luck, and have fun.

That plant ain't old enough to be deficient in anything. It's definitely operator error. You're killing it with love and attention
Put it back in a dome and take a couple days off. ok, just kidding but you're overwatering no doubt.
r u ususin a moisture meter? you're not R you? You are a bad, bad man!!

You got me on that one. Just hate to see people follow the wrong advice and end up getting screwed because of it, especially first time growers.

Ok, well don't fry the little gals
bottom of moist is a good time to water
then really soak her, just drown it for a couple minutes. I've taken to doing this and just getting explosive growth now. I'm talkin inches per day
I think it helps wash all the salt crystals from the root hairs and baths them in fresh nute solution. like starting from start at every watering.
Plants are just emerald green and really just expoloding
