Yellowing, I tried Something, How Do I Tell If It Worked

I'm just a noob and have been reading tons here.
I have a classic yellowing of some middle leaves. I added some Epsom salts and cut the water back some from 1 gallon in the AM to 1/2 gallon. They drain well.
I am wondering how I tell if it worked?

Do I cut the yellow leaves off and see if any more appear?

The plant is a towering 5'6" from the rim out of a 5 gallon bucket outdoors.

My configuration is:
Seedlings planted into 5 gallon buckets of -
90% Bacto Premium potting soil.
10 % Processed manure.
Light 1/3 dosages of MG Tomato every 7 days since 4' tall.

No. Leave them. the plant can use the nutrients in the dying leafs. and it seems like a nitrogen deficiency

or possibly an Iron deficiency with they way the are yellowing.

but is the plant flowering?

She is just starting to show tiny pistils. What is in used coffee grounds?

So im guessing she is 2-3 week into flower, FYI it is normal for some Yellowing and death in mid and end of flowering


Coffee grounds I think would be slow-release nitrogen. not 100%

and it can effect your pH

but you only feed 1/3? and she is that big... bump up the food. she might be hungry and every 7 days? should feed every 3 or 4 days... every other watering or so

but IMO i would bump up her food.

that big of a plant will get hungry.
and she sure is pretty. keep her healthy and she will give you more in return

What is the NPK rating of your nutrients? Also overwatering can cause yellowing and drooping. Water when the soil is no longer damp to the touch 1/2 inch down
