Hi All

My girl is getting sicker. I was ph my water when I shouldnt of been. Im growing in Biobizz soil & nutes. They say the soil will ph itself.
For the last 10 days the leaves have been turning yellow. I flushed her with 2 liters of water on Monday & fed her today with 1ml Grow 1ml Top Max 3ml Bloom 4ml Acti Vera & 1ml CalMag hoping this will help.

Any advice would be really really appreciated.

I see it feeding on the nitrogen left in the plant. 4 weeks is a little early to be yellowing out that much, but you can give it a bit more for a week or 2. I do see what looks like a ph issue on one or 2 leaves but you said you did that, so probably nothing.

Is that 29 from flip or flower? Flip right?

Thanks for helping out again 3rd Monkey!

29 since flip. I didnt ph at all until about 10/12 days ago as Biobizz website says I dont need to ph. Then I started to (dont ask me why I did. Probably from reading too much). I was told on another forum that its because Im using ph up/down that its locking out Nitrogen. So I flushed on Monday with 2 liters of water. Since shes been growing I have only had to feed her once every 6/7 days. I fed her today with a liter of water with nutes & half of it ran straight out. Her pot was already very heavy.

So do you think I should ph my water? Like I said Biobizz say I dont have to. I dont know wtf to do at this stage

I don't think there's anything wrong with ph'ing, and I've never known ph up or down to cause lockout specifically. Lockout would be caused more by a higher ppm of the wrong stuff in your water.

If you flushed, you washed off any buildup that might have been there... Any nutrients it was up taking as well.

If you just added nutes and the pot is heavy, let it dry out a bit. Good ventilation under the pot and a fan up too.

I could be wrong, but it looks like it's just using up most of the N since the switch.

No, I fed each of them 2 liters of plain water & waited 7 days before I switched. I then started them on flowering nutes with grow since then.
That's the issue. You should have fed veg right up until they threw pistils. It's lacking nitrogen. You can bump up the N for a week or maybe 2, but then drop it back off. They're starving a bit.

I have tested it straight from the tap & it is `yellow ie 3 on the ph scale, so I started bringing it up to about 6.
3.0 ph would eat metal practically due to the acid content, so I have to say something about this ph is off on your end, not your soil. This is not a lockout either, that would make a very obvious sign within the plant regardless of what end of the spectrum its locked out at. It's a minimum nitrogen deficiency and the plants simply using the nitrogen that is mobile.

So I think I'll just up her nitrogen feed & see what happens.

I really appreciate your help!

Yeah I do drink it now you say it. Thanks for giving me something else to worry about!! :(
Alright dude, I dunno if you're fucking with me or if your water comes straight out of a shit gutter, but I don't want to assume the latter.

Either that, or you don't know how to test ph... Which a 3.anything should throw a big, red, fucking flag at you.

Not necessarily. I live in a swamp with high mineral content. My ph is 6.6-6.8. Close enough to neutral but still not alkaline. Just sayin...
