:cuss::wall: :(

help! my babies are starting to yellow from the bottom up, mostly the Mandala Satori I'm growing.

Day:22 from sow
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Temperature: 75-80F
Humidity: 25-45%

Any ideas?

I was thinking nitrogen deficiency because I haven't given them any nutes yet. I've got Fox Farm Organic liquid nutes (Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom) with the schedule, just haven't decided to use them yet.

I also water every other day. The biggest one in the #2 picture was transplanted yesterday and was flushed.

Any help, advice/opinions are appreciated.

Check out other posts on the same issue. I dunno. I'm having a hell of a problem, too. It could be overwatering or PH, or nutes if the edges go brown. Doesn't look wet. I'll keep watching you're post to see what appears.

i'd say give them a bit of nirto..
they are a decent size..

I'd also say it is cool to start feeding.. just always ease in and observe.. BEST method..

You didn't mention your light strength or distance, nor can I see your total plant size from the pics. At this age, it's possible to lose a couple of your lowest leaves to lack of light penetration.

I've checked there a bunch of times and realized it was pH fluctuation.
Whatever this is, it is NOT pH. I've lived thru pH problems and know them well. This is where everyone defaults to (pH) when the problem / solution is evasive. I think this is much simpler than that.

In any case, don't ever act on "pH issues" and solutions without actually testing your pH and being absolutely certain there is a problem there.

Very true. Im having the same problem, yellowing on lower canopy but then again ive been veg'n for 7 weeks. I use Aquafina + BMO nutes and with run off its still 7.0....so definately dont act on pH problem. Mine are yellowing and browning I believe its some sort of Nitrogen problem, because they started just yellow like yours.

So it isn't his soil?
I doubt it would of mattered , but mine are in the same looking soil. Barely added any nutes..

I need to transplant and plant in enriched soil.

Mine was actually improved a little by foliage feeding with nutes once a day. Usually an all purpose or Nitrogen/Magnesium rich nutes will do the job.

Very nice man, glad to hear it went back to shape. Mine (claps) has perked back up. The yellowing/brown/dying young leaves was from me not giving it enough water. Good luck on your grow :hump:
