yellowing directly under light. pics posted!!

ok guys i know what yr thinking... yr thinking i need to chill out and stop stressing about every single leaf huh. well im not stressing in this case im just curious. ive got 2 pics of leaves from the same plant. ive noticed that the leaves directly under my 1000w hps are yellower than other leaves farther from the hps. the yellow leaf was about 8" directly under the light, and the green one was off to the side of the light. what causes this yellowing?

8" is generally too close for such a big light. I don't even keep my 400 HPS that close.

Stop removing your fan leaves.

Heat stress, heat stress, how do we fight the heat stress?

You have great leaf health, btw. You take intense notes, too. I used to do that before I committed it all to memory. Lol.

i dont really have a choice it how close they are to the light. i let them grow too big for their briches, and now im outta room. i just raised the light as high as it can go. that leaves me with only about 18" from the light right now. and im in week 2 of flowering. am i fucked? and i dnt always remove fan leaves. i understand their importance. i dont think 2 missing will hurt a 2.5 ft plant.

I've had that yellowing right under my 1000w, too. It's just the heat.

ya those 1000w are some hot mo fos. ive hot mine vented and i got the ac blowing straight on it. it works pretty good but its still pretty hot.
