hi guys , i'm a total noob...my first time grow. i built a cabinet(180cm X 40cm X 20 cm) 2 X 25 cm pots potting soil. i germinated the plants using 5 cfl's, but noticed that growth was very slow and leaves started yellowing and dying and it was spreading to the higher leaves. after about a month i decided to use my life savings(haha :>) and buy a HPS system 400 watt. the hps light is about 1.2 -1.5 metres above the plants. a few days under the hps , the plants had a growth spurt. now the plants seem to be growing better and faster. but the leaves become pale green then it looks like the tips of the leaves burn/yellow? and spreads through out the leaf and it's not only the lower leaves . the light is on 18/6 temp ranges from 20~35 celsius. i water every 3 days. ive done some reading ...apparently it could be Nitrogen deffiency or over-watering? please help..... (p.s sorry details are in metric system , i am in South Africa)
