Yellow Leaves

I am almost five weeks into the flowering stage of some white widow plants. Supposedly the plant takes eight weeks to flower fully.

A few days ago I noticed that some of the plants leaves were turning yellow. Not yellow spotting, but full yellow transformation. The leaves would then sag and die. I am pretty sure that it is lacking nitrogen. Would I assume that is correct?

Should I allow this to continue so late into flowering or should I do something to correct the nitrogen level? (If that really is the issue).

When should I cut out the fertilizers totally?

I appreciate any input.
Thanks, J

Just to add something else...

I am using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom fertilizer. I water every other day and usually fertilize twice and then use water once.

I am still quite new at this whole game and welcome any tips or criticisms.

Thanks, J

DON'T add nothing else keep doing what you are doing the plant at round about 5 week sometime's alittle early yellow up don' pull the plant's till all the leave is bright yellow. It's happening because when your plant is in veg all the nute's that you feed go into makeing your plant healthy and strong. But when it comes to the flowering stage theplant put all it energy into the buds don't worry.

Where in the hell am I?

No, you want a low nitro level right now! After 1 more week, start yer flush. Have you been flushing every 2 weeks w/Clearex?

Thanks for the response.

I actually have not heard of that. What is the definition of flush? I have always just understood flush as watering with no nutrients. Should I be doing something different?

Thanks, J

Hey I wanna jump in here... Im in the same boat as you are man, I'm about 7 weeks in and my buds look freakin fantastic but ALL of my leaves turned yellow and died. I started my flush 2 waterings ago and from what I have read everything is normal. This is my first grow and its just kinda weird plants with no leaves on them, just bud? i still have a few white hairs but most of them are orange im thinkin i have another week or so?

That sounds exactly like mine. The buds look fantastic but the leaves look hungry for nutrient.

What kind of strain are you growing?
