I fed at full strength the same night I asked for advice and just waiting for it to dry out. I guess it is what it is.

K, I gave here a full strength and she seems to like it. Probably few more days till she drys out. So I don't have to worry about harsh smoke?

Here’s a breakdown of the “ elements” that shows flushing does absolutely nothing.

You can feed your plants right up until you harvest with 0 effects of taste or smell

Biggest thing is to let your plants fully ripen, and dry them nice and slow. A fully ripe plant will retain the moisture needed for that nice slow dry.

Too many Google growers giving terrible advice on these forums, so choose wisely who you take advice from.

So lots of folks on here fert right up to harvest and like the final product. Feeding to the end helps the plant make bud mass BUT, like you are concerned about, a bunch of elements left in the pot isn’t the best for taste. Many folks on here run long flower times too; that gives you a big window for letting the plant use up the available nutrients.
Realistically how long are you going to flower for? Me personally, I’d fert them real good this next week or two, get them happy, then start backing down the dose as they ripened. You could run on just water the last week or more if you were concerned about harshness.
I'm on day 41 of a flowering time of 8-9 weeks. Im looking to push the whole nine. Would it hurt to go longer or do I just follow my trichs? I don't really know what you mean by long flowering time. Appreciate all the info

That plant is hungry. Feed it some base nutrients. Those will contain all the calcium and magnesium needed along with the other nutrients it needs. Calmag is so overused it's become ridiculous. It also causes problems with many new growers that have read so many people saying "Needs Calmag" that they start using it from day one with every watering because they think it's a damn requirement or some special elixir. Unless you're using RO water you shouldn't need any Calmag supplement ever. Too much calcium will cause problems with the uptake of other nutrients.

How do you know when it's fully ripe?

How do I know when it's fully ripe? So its not the flushing that makes the harsh smoke it's based on how slow you dry it? I'm confused cause I don't trust alot of people I usually go with my instincts but I'm just to new a grower to trust myself fully. Why is flushing so talked about?

Try doing a search for “is it ready yet”, and discover that many experienced growers on here do not follow nute charts, flowering times, flushing times and half a dozen things.
